The pictures are deceptive. I didn't see any large hotel with restaurants and amenities. Must be in another building because this one was small - 4 rooms to each floor. Tiny lobby with elevator. Room looked out into an office building 30 feet away so I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time.

The only issue I had was that the bed had a dent and the mattress wasn’t changed when I called to tell the front desk guy. I thought it would’ve been changed since I wasn’t there. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. I still will book. It was my first time experiencing something like that at my favorite hotel.

Could never get into the restaurant/bar due to reservations being full. Rooms were tiny. My TV never worked even after informing the front desk.

Staff was absolutely wonderful. Kind, welcoming and helpful.

checked in , THEN they divulged the elevator was broken. I was not able to walk up 14 floors with luggage at my age. Still trying to get my money back.

It was fine for the price. Neighbors in room next door partied all night and there was no soundproofing

This hotel was a big disappointment, and is definitely not ‘boutique’ by any stretch of the imagination. I stayed in the North Tower over the road which is apparently not as nice as the South Tower as the rooms are smaller. The room is old, the paint is chipped and it was in dire need of a new lick of paint. The WiFi was intermittent, the shower head broken so water went everywhere. The furniture was tired and had clearly been repaired multiple times, and I was given two coat hangers which was useless for a week of meetings when I needed to hang my clothes. I was on the 16th floor and the water pressure kept coming and going. My door key stopped working on a daily basis and the desk staff were not really very helpful. The room was clean and housekeeping did a great job every day. I suspect this is a case of a landlord taking the money and spending as little as possible to maintain the ‘hotel’. Strong smell of weed in the lift every evening and an elevator that was slow and looked like it would break down at any minute. Would never stay here again.

Checkin staff rude. Lobby was not as pictured. That was at the location across the street. Hotel description said they had a bar, the location across the street said it was the lobby, not a bar, and drinks were limited. We asked if we could eat at the restaurant and were told no. There was a sign in the lobby of our location saying there was a bar. There were scuffs and stains on ealls and ceiling in room. We were given 2 towels even though we paid for 4 people. We had to ask for towels and get towels on out own. Room was clean and housekeeper was nice.

Excellent staff kindly and very responsible

Loved our stay. Sometimes the front desk guy wasn’t super friendly but didn’t make a difference for us. Room was very comfortable. Would definitely come back.

I would stay there again for the two on-site sushi bars and great staff throughout.

Don’t get scared by the google reviews. Excellent location. AC working, shower had great pressure. Fast response and service from the front desk. The north tower doesn’t have a great view but it’s a very New York City experience. Overall loved it! Would come again

The front desk guy was awesome. Rooms are small and no cleanjng products in the kichen and had to go out and buy some.

Check-in was fast and efficient. Room was nice. Had a balcony. The only thing is there was no lock on the balcony door. I felt someone could enter the room from the ajoining terrace if one wanted to. Other than that, had a good sleep and shower

The room is spacious and well furnished with great amenities. Everything was clean and well prepared for our arrival. The location was perfect. The decor is innovative and stylish. Totally recommend!

Very pretty and decorated well. Staff is very pleasant. I’ll be nice and won’t mention the bathroom. The room looked ok from far but was disgustingly dirty, bed sheets were clean and well made.

Good value for what you pay not the nicest but not the worst needs some tlc

Property can use some touch me ups. Walls were dirty, bed literally sat on the floor as bed frame is broken, and tv hung on the wall by zip ties. Room is small but that’s the city, and was comfortable for a 1 night stay.

Great location for exploring Manhattan. Rooms were small and humble, but everything worked aside from some WiFi outages.

Clean, nice bathroom, good bed; main complaint is the ambient noise from outside (it is New York after all); excellent value for the quality and centrally located to all sorts of New York things (Central Park, central station, Cornell Med School, etc. etc. easy access to subway / busses / taxi / Uber.

Nothing is unique. no wi fi at all.

Hotel was in a good location to visit our daughter in Manhattan, but the rooms and halls were small, walls were banged up, and the some of the walls in the room and bathroom still looked and felt not 100% clean. Price felt high for the “value” and condition.

Good room for the price, had a small night on the town and was conveniently placed near good food and sightseeing.

Elevator did not work for 24 hours so we had to climb 9 floors. I asked for refund on one night resort fee twice but have not heard anything at all yet.

While many hotel properties in the world offer a scheduled wake up call via phone, the 32 32 offers a complimentary and unrequested 4am wake up call in the form of a knock from an unknown stranger. Another unexpected feature of the hotel is that you may not stay in it -- walk into the pictured lobby, and you may be one of the lucky sent across the street to the "North Tower," the ugly little sister to the "hotel" across the street.
