Kitchen Extractor ducting runs past the window. The window only opens a couple of inches and the room was unbearably hot. There was a plug in fan but this just circulated the hot air. There was only 1 towel and we did not notice this until late. Breakfast, they were mopping the floor when we arrived, the water heater was broken so no coffee available and the gluten free toast and eggs were inedible sadly. Cheap room as a stop off whilst travelling, I wouldn't choose to stay again.

Surprised that an unattended large dog ( no lead) and then later a cat was wondering around the dinning area . With dog looking for food . Apart from that all good - staff very pleasant and polite .

Excellent value for money. Bed extremely comfortable. Room very clean. Decorating going on but doesn’t affect your comfort. Quality of food another thing. Poor portions, steaks terrible. Supposed to be rump but most unusual cut and tough. I did tell staff and was told it’s to do with supplier!! No recompense . Desserts decent x

Ok if you just want a bed for the night and a cheap pub meal

The rooms hot water boiler broke down but we have to say that the Manager and Assistant Manager gave us options of another Hotel or an evening meal so we stayed and the food was good. It was only a stopover on our way south and we would stay there again as it is so close to the M5 motorway.

Lovely accommodation situated conveniently for travel between Sth West and Lincolnshire coast. Staff friendly and courteous. Nice room and good food. We will be back!

The room was not clean when we arrived but the manager attended to this and apologised. In the end she did everything she could to make us feel happier. The real issue is if the room we stayed in was the general standard for all rooms then they are not good enough. The place needs a revamp to be more in line with what the modern day traveller expects.

We thought it was great value for money, staff were friendly the room was clean and comfortable and although in a pub, you couldn’t hear the bar. We would definitely stay again

Everything was fine, good check-in, requested different room, no problem. There seemed to be a shortage of beer choices at the bar other than that a comfortable stay

Had a nice stay at the crown, easy to check in, room a good size and the bed was very comfortable. No noise from other rooms. Bathroom was clean and relatively new - shower power not great but was sufficient. We bought both dinner and breakfast in the pub and both were very nice. Much better than we expected for the price paid

Could not have a bath and shower was very poor toilet was broken was not very clean cobwebs everywhere windows was very dirty but the breakfast was OK

Surprisingly quiet and very comfortable room in a big, family- and dog-friendly pub. Helpful staff (do they ever sleep?) and standard pub menu well cooked and served quickly. Perfect for a business trip.

This Hotel is amazing, from the staff who are lovely, amazing food , rooms ,the comfiest bed ,decor, cleanliness and great value for money ! Not one fault, would highly recommend, due to working nationwide I stay Mon-Fri in hotels , this is one of the very best I’ve stayed in ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was welcomed to the hotel & checked in upon my arrival. It was a friendly welcome & good to see that I was in a clean & tidy hotel. My room was clean with adequate clean fluffy white towels, a desk with tea & coffee making facilities which included some very welcome biscuits. WiFi was available in my room at no extra cost, most important & a decent sized tv. A shower in the bath & shower cream plus more at the washbasin was much appreciated. Overall, my stay was great & this hotel will be where I stay on my next visit to Worcestershire.

Room was a good size for us as a family, beds were comfortable, the restaurant is lovely, staff very friendly and helpful. Was perfect for us for the 1 night we needed the room for.

Impressed by the customer service at this nice place to stay, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, professional and efficient team. The location was a great for the road network in the area; for public transport users the hotel is on a direct bus link between Droitwich Spa, Bromsgrove and Worcester. This is a public house with rooms, the pub is very welcoming, a lovely place for drinks and food. The rooms are a little dated in terms of décor and the communal areas could do with a lick of paint and some TLC however as with the rest of the property spotlessly clean. The memory I will take away from the Crown was the extremely comfortable bed, duvet and pillows which aided a brilliant nights sleep. Highly recommended and will stay again

Location was the only good part, we had booked a meal for 8 people and made sure when booked not to be in bar. But on the night this was what we ended up with , so not very happy , we had to order at bar as they were too busy to wait on us, when food arrived some dishes were wrong and cold, not a good experience and staff rude
