The girl at the front desk was not very nice.

The area and room were great! But I had to take my daughter to the hospital, so that part was not good! But everything else was good!

Modest but clean hotel. Just a short walk to Ocean View Blvd and the lovely coastline

Stay was good. Hotel is in a good area, close to a lot of tourist activities.

Hotel staff were friendly, room was clean and stocked well with linens. We would stay there again!

A very great location. Very quiet, very accommodating. There was plenty of restaurants shops within a mile radius however, the beds were very uncomfortable. But overall, a very good stay!

It was a nice stay and convenient to everything we were doing in the Monterey area. Very nice and relaxing location. Staff was friendly! It was a little dated, and kind of weird with sliding glass doors as the entry to the rooms. Also, our room was right at the top of the stairs for the 1st floor so everyone coming and going went by our room, which was a little noisy in the morning.

Really expensive during summertime for what the propriety has to offer. No window or real door. Only a sliding door to access the room and get fresh air. It feels unsafe to leave it open during the night. Bathroom not in great shape. Would not recommend.

Weather was amazing. Welcoming, check-in staff was great, friendly and helpful. The layout of the Lodge was great. The cleaning staff was friendly, helpful and personable. Breakfast and check-out person was not so accommodating, we felt like we were bothering her. Maybe she was having a bad day.

The property is outdated. Bring your extension cord if you have many devices to charge. There are no charging stations in the room and not enough outlets. The floor needs a deep cleaning. My kids walked bare feet after shower for 5 minutes and got their foot sole black. But my biggest complaints are about the shower water shifting between hot and cold constantly. It is not a good feeling to have to wash your hair in cold water, especially for the kids.

The room was clean and the beds comfy but no air conditioning. I’m glad I opted for a balcony room so I could open the slider and cool down the room. And I was expecting daily housekeeping service, that did not occur. But overall the room met our needs at a decent price.

We enjoyed our stay, it’s convenient to everything we wanted to do. We saw deer in the neighborhood and could walk to the beach. It definitely needs some updating , and deep cleaning. But the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was just a croissant and piece of cheese. Coffee was fairly unpleasant but drinkable.

It's hard to make things look clean when they're old. Room smelled musty and the beds were hard. The breakfast to go boxes were very nice. Our room wasn't made up even though we stayed 2 nights. Good thing we had enough towels and toilet paper. There definitely aren't enough outlets. Sliding glass doors were heavy and difficult to open. I would suggest some lamps with usb ports, that would be helpful. About a 15 minute walk to the beach, it's just far from downtown.

The price for staying in PG was affordable. The room extremely outdated. Right next to the golf course but I think they accidentally left a golf cart on reverse all night. There was a horrible beeping noise that wouldn’t stop. Blinds were falling apart and no cable.

Friendly check in. Small, older rooms with no AC, but overall clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Family of 4.

It depends on where you room is at to how quiet. Room 211 is perfect. Ocean view over the office away from noise.

It’s very nice, check in was very easy ! The staff very helpful and courteous!

The floor was extremely dirty and the bathroom had old soap scum all over the shower. We had to clean the shower are selves in order to take a shower. At times the floor will get a weird moisture like feeling. We all had to wear socks. My son ran back and forth and the bottom of his foot was black.

I knew this property did not offer breakfast but what I liked is that they offered a Grab n Go breakfast which was perfect, with little ones. Made our mornings. Staff was great!! Thank you

The reception/check in area lacking hospitality. Receptionist gave us incorrect room #, key did not work. Not fun, going to top floor dragging luggage up very steep stairs & back down. Reception somewhat unclear/unsure of knowing where our room was. The room appears old & in need of updates upon entering. Along with the carpet appearing old& musty, Rust on doors, patio, bathroom. Stayed as little as possible in room & left early checkout. Be sure to ask for a fan,(also rusted). The best part was the grab& go fresh bakery croissants. No extras here, not worth the price to stay. Motel 6 been better choice.

Amazing location!! Very quaint lodge. Great service by the staff. Toilet seat in our room was loose and you could smell some of the fumes coming from the trap. Other than that the room was great!

Nice people in the office, but this place is in need of a makeover. Dated and weathered, you can find better acccomodations nearby.

This is a good “value” property in pacific grove. Right on lighthouse Ave, next to a good burrito bowl place for east and quiet meals. Don’t expect ocean views, rooms are spacious and beds were comfortable. Box breakfast and cinnamon flowered coffee. (Not our favorite, but you can always use coffee maker in room). This is a 70’s era structure with open stairs and sliders for entry vs regular doors. Bathrooms are dated but clean. Small fridges in room. Would return based on location and price.

Very close to the beautiful coastal beach. Great stay!
