Not friendly stuff. Tv did not work. AC was not working. I did not like it at all

Beach location is great, pool area is nice and the rooms are clean.
They say they are a 4 star hotel but in fact it is an American 2 star level hotel with a restaurant. Staff tries their best.
Nothing particularly wrong, but no available breakfast options, no fridge or microwave in the room is very limiting. Stupid things like there is a coffee maker but I had to move the desk to find a plug for it.

This was a great place to stay in Jaco. Its just south of town so its more laid back and quiet but close to everything. The staff was nice and the restaurant on site has good food. Theres a little restaurant and store across the street that made things easy as well.

The hotel Laguna is in a wonderful location if you want to go surfing and enjoy the beach. However, next to the hotel Laguna is a private residence which constantly hosts bachelor parties and other loud events. The hotel has no control over this facility and does nothing to accommodate desk, who cannot sleep. There are so many better options in the area. Until they value their guests, I would avoid staying at this hotel.

Property is located beach front in a quiet & nice area of Jaco beach. We rented a beach front view that had a nice view of the ocean and could hear the waves break, which was really nice to go to sleep. However, the suite was one of the dirtiest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. There was cobwebs on every corner of the room and sand & dirt all over the floors.

We throughly enjoyed the 5 nights we stayed at the Jaco Laguna. It off the main strip and in a nice quiet location. The staff was great and the facility was well cared for. El Miro is right up the street if ur looking for a morning hike to an incredible overlook. It’s about a 15 minute walk down the beach to downtown

Supplies in bathroom not much, even towels you can take a shower only once, lights inside the room old style, not good, online it said breakfast included, actually it is not. Not much to do after sunset, they do not allow you bring even beer from outside, that is so weird. Restaurant and reception staff is amazing.

Friendly staff, nice rooms & great views. Good value. Locals are very chill. Not ideal for late night outs if thats your thing, but not bad either. Better to wake up early and take advantage of the mornings.

Staff was nice. They cleaned the room often. I couldn't find evidence of mold clean up. The staff told me that the humidifier was because the room
Was just painted and not due to mold. I stayed in room 15. Room 15 did not have much of a view. After 10 pm you have to call security to let your drive back on the premise. The place was safe and clean.

We had booked the room with balcony and first night did not get it.
Was put in a room on second floor and the ceiling in the shower was full of mold to the point we did not use the shower.
We received the room we booked with a balcony the 2nd night.
In this room, we stayed for 4 nights and only asked for room to be cleaned once as we kept it clean ourselves.
Our bed was made not changed, never left us with new coffee and sugar but did leave us with clean towels.
We felt it was not cleaned the way it should have been for only bothering them once.
Employees at reception desk were very sweet and helpful.

Thé hotel was excellent, beautiful property and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue was the light over one of the beds was out and the room could have been cozier looking but we really appreciated the dehumidifier, an excellent touch.

Stayed two nights. Hotel is nice but a little run down. Staff was great. Location on the beach was key for swimming, surfing and sunsets. Beach chairs are extra $ (they should be included as a hotel guest). Had several meals at Tiki Bar on premises and food was good, as were the drinks.

I’ve only had two interactions with front desk staff and both young people were very pleasant.
My biggest issue is with the restaurant staff. Literally the worst service I’ve ever received in 25 years of coming to Costa Rica. There are three main servers who neither smile, acknowledge you, say thank you or you’re welcome. They don’t smile unless it’s to each other. At first I thought they were having a bad day but they’ve had three consecutive bad days. Slow service is to be expected in Costa Rica. It’s actually something I enjoy as long as it’s pleasant.
I brought it to the attention of the front desk but she just smiled and apologized. I have a feeling that she’s heard this many times before.

The property is small and intimate. It is older, but well kept. It is right on the beach. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Overall, a nice oceanfront resort, by Costa Rica standards. Our room (#10) had some issues that the hotel said they would address but did not, hence last than full stars. Some electrical outlets in the room were mis-wired. The safe in the room was locked shut, and the hotel could not find the key. The door to the room lacked a room number (unlike #9 next door). So, not "10"
