Excellent place to stay

The staff were excellent and the breakfast area was lovely and cosy. Our room was comfortable.

A quiet lovely oasis in busy Oaxaca.. lovely rooms, beautiful tropical plants and a bubbling stream makes one feel like you're in a spa.

Staff was amazing from arrival to departure. Extremely welcoming, we ran into an issue with my parents flight during Dia de Muertos and with all city sold out they were so kind to take them in. This place decoration is breathtaking as well a place that feels home and the staff is always trying to help you with recommendations and anything needed, once you visit you will be a client for life as per my personal experience I’m sure hoping to be back next year.

Very good location… walking distance to the hustle and bustle of the old town with its many attractions. Unfortunately there was a house alarm that went off next door lasting hours. Staff is very friendly . Shower pressure was inadequate …. Very challenging to take a proper shower.

Staff were all courteous and helpful. Hotel was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Food served at restaurant was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Very welcoming. Lovely garden to share a cold drink with friends at the end of the day. 30 minute walk to downtown restaurants. Would stay again.

We stayed here 10 nights in late January. Quiet, clean, good mattress, room cleaned daily with fresh towels. Good water pressure & hot water. Lovely al fresco breakfast area. Very friendly, helpful staff who coordinated private tours when asked to do so.

Charming, clean, very secure and wonderful staff. We loved our 1 week stay at Casa Los Cantatos. Everyone- front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and evening staff were all extremely gracious and helpful. We also liked that it wasn’t in the busy Central but easy walking distance to sites and great restaurants. A Oaxacan gem!

Safe and clean

Staying at Hotel Casa de Los Cantaros was a great experience. The staff were very helpful and kind. The location is within walking distance of downtown, and lots of restaurants nearby. It’s a small size hotel with a cute little courtyard and we’ll kept and clean.

The hotel is very nice, they have a lots of plants and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The atención of Mr Carlos was excellent.

This is where my husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Super cute and cozy. The patio was beautifully decorated with plants of all sorts. The staff was helpful and are happy to help you. It's a 10ish minute walk to el centro but SO WORTH IT. With stores, liquor stores, and mini marts not too far.

Everything was top of the line. Extra clean. Well Located. Friendly and helpfull Staff. Quiet.

The property was very clean. The place was quite, even that it's located in a busy avenue. No loud places around it. Staff is very friendly and gives you suggestions about where to eat or go. Private bathroom very clean.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located close to the center yet far enough feel free of the congestion of a city. The suite was spacious and well equipped, and the courtyard a quiet place to enjoy your morning coffee. The staff are super.

For us the hotel was perfectly situated, 15 min ( or less) from hotel to Iglesia Santo Domingo ( the tourist corridor is just like crossing the street and passing a park) . The staff is super helping and they are always smiling . If you were hoping to stay in a hotel 100% noise proof well , you are not in the right one not because of the hotel but because of the traffic on the street and there's a school just beside but nothing to worry to much . Super clean, rooms are big and confortables. You have a mini restaurant inside and you have a garden that brings charm to it. Very satisfied and I'll return for sure. ( observation here … ask for a room not at the main entrance, always at the very back!!) If Oaxaca's food is too much for your stomach you have a super nice restaurant : EL MOROCCO just like 10 min walking from there !!! Excellent food and breakfast

The property was lovely and very well maintained. The room we had was a bit short on space to store clothing but otherwise very comfortable and tastefully decorated. A full length mirror was missing but often is in many hotel rooms. The location was a bit further than I would have liked from the center of Oaxaca City and involved crossing a very major street but did help us to "walk-off" some of the wonderful food we had.

Lovely setting, super friendly staff, great breakfast and a short taxi to the centre.

Loved the room, the bed (comfortable and huge), the bathroom and staff.Didnt like the that the hotel was located next to a school (7am - 9am sounded like a huge childrens conference was going on as it was probably recess).Would have been nice if there was an extra lounge chair in the room as well since the room was huge.

Great experience! Better than a big hotel, this is more like a house so the employees there were amazing! They make you feel like you’re at home, great attitude, always giving us options on what to do everyday. I would definitely be back to this Hotel! Great location as well, super close to the zocalo.

The hotel is clean and very nice! The have large rooms with comfortable beds, pillows however, the entrance if the hotel is always closed day and night and you have to ring the bell in order for them to open it. The area is safe so I dont know why they take that extra measure of precaution. So if you leave at night or day just know you cant just walk into your room you have to ring a bell and wait for them to open.

Wonderful stay for the money. Staff was incredible, attentive, and friendly. Very short walk to the center of city--lots of food and coffee choices under 10 minute walk. Maybe ask to stay away from front desk area for a more quite stay. Housekeepers were scrupulous. Also they have a super sweet kitty that we already miss. Would happily book again!

We had the suite and the room was very spacious and clean. Linens were like brand new. The hotel was walking distance to the center of town but far enough away to avoid all the noise. Our rate didn't include breakfast (others did) but we ate there a couple days and the price was reasonable and the food very good. The server's English was excellent.
