It’s a 2 stars and not a 4 stars hotel as rated in the review. I was sent to rate the hotel before I even checked in, odd. The check in process was simple. As soon as I walked into the room, it looked old I just wanted to leave. The room has a horrific smell. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. I stayed for one night n checked out early the next day. Wouldn’t recommended.

Friendly staff

Our 3-4 stay here each time it’s very good service . Clean rooms tho a bit older hotel they keep it clean . We were upgraded to a very nice suite which I wished we had more time to enjoy . Had 2 balconies huge room with huge bathroom. The check in clerk forgot his name was very professional and kind . Will continue to stay here in future.

3rd shift Administrator at front desk was kind of rude when I asked for some toilette paper, just as if I wanted to overuse the service. (Fact is that we were 4 people in the room and housekeeping was requested to skip in order to sleep late, so toilette paper was not provided earlier)

Thr lady at front desk was super helpful , room wasn’t ready it was raining and busy .She took our luggage to office said half hr room ready and we went to get a bite to eat. Returned room was ready . My only complaint is zero WiFi. I asked the young mand as the sweet lady was gone. He said no WiFi it happens ALOT ! I asked can’t you ck it and reboot router - nope ! People need WiFi to confirm flights etc this needs urgent attention. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Was checked in after going to the other hotel very confused because both have similar name web page is same . This bigger hotel has no hot water and more noise at night then the smaller one on 5 th . I like the smaller cleaner has hot water .

To much noise. You can't sleep before 2am. Never again.

Service was excellent. The bad part was that they won't let you enjoy heaving a beer by the pool. The reason coming to Cancun is relaxing and enjoying a beer by the pool.

I have had the pleasure of staying twice at this wonderfully characteristic little hotel. I love the fact that it is so very close to every convenience that you might need, being 5th Ave or the beach. The staff is always been exceptionally kind and helpful and I love that the character of the hotel has such beauty in it. I will happily stay at this hotel anytime that I am in Playa if possible. The first time I stayed here inn2020, there was an issue with no hot water for the entire week but I wasn’t bothered by it as it was so hot outside, the cool water was refreshing. My most recent stay in February 2024 there was hot water all week. The Wi-Fi is a bit spotty but that’s safe to say anywhere. I fully recommend this beautiful little hotel. ☀️🥰

No one was working counter when we arrived . Was told he was at the other hotel. We had to wait over 30 minutes to check in. Not happy!

The hotel room was gross. Bed was very hard, pillows are old and stinky. Bathroom full of mold

The hotel structure is very nice, the pool is small always full, people all ways drinking alcohol and noise, not recommend for family, The front desk personnel need to receive a customer service training, while I walked in with my family to the front desk, the individual who was behind the desk ignored us when I told him that we have a reservation for the first time, i told him again that we have a reservation theme he responded with attitude and asked my name them he replied his payment and I asked for my total then he replied back and told me your should know bcz you did your reservation via Expedia, next time do it with us directly and show me a flier with phone numbers, When i pay him with dollars he told me that he doesn’t havre $4 dollars change, I replied back and told him to bring the change to my room, Something that never happened, Before I walked in to my room to read me a few rules of the hotel and one of that was not to drink in the pool, and also he told me that we only allowed to have two towels then I asked him since we were 4 family members in the room we required two more , them he made me to sign a weaver for the extra towels, I understand hotel rules and regulations and we always follow it, but this time this person made me filling like a thief at front of my family, Also I asked them to not go inside my room for cleaning and they went through any way even that I asked to their supervisor .

Wifi in the room wasn't strong. Room was on second floor with balcony and we really liked it.

I liked the look of the place. However the tub was rusty and the shower head was broken. In addition sleeping in the bed was like sleeping on a rock and the towels were not replaced every day as promised.

I didn’t like it not to friendly

Positive: Spacious room, good location, beautiful hotel with a little distance, and then this one guy in the reception was really nice and the cleaning lady. Negative: Not very clean, everything is old and falling a bit apart, the shower head was broken and kept falling down, you could hear every sound on the hall or on the street, so way to much noice, 2/3 times we tried there were no beach towels even though they recommended us to get them. So we had to do a trip to a cenote without towels. And generel lazy service that did not speak English. And the beds were very hard, and only one chair in the big balcony.

The room was very spacious, clean and the location of the hotel was perfect. The bad unfortunately..the noise was so loud from the clubs, bars, restaurants and ppl around it. So if you are a person who cannot knock out with noise DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Thankfully for us we can fall asleep with noise so it wasn’t a issue but the noise was very obvious so if you are a light sleeper don’t do it. The pool was cute we did enjoy it and definitely enjoyed that it was walking distance to everything.

There was night club music going on until 3am that you could CLEARLY hear in your room. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get any sleep what so ever. The pool was also out of service. We checked out the next morning, 3 days early. We would never stay there again.

It was what we expected and actually nicer, but you do need to have reasonable expectations. We needed clean, and a bed … both were accomplished and the property has real charm and a lovely pool and is close to everything. There was no air conditioning, our ceiling fan made a loud noise which was not a huge issue as the nearby club dance tunes was loud enough we literally had to talk “loud” to hear each other. We did anticipate this and still felt the price for what we received was a good value.

The location is perfect, but the cleaning lady stole at least 1000 pesos from my room. And fun 1 bedbug in my daughter bed.

Within walking distance to everything that we needed. Our room was nice, although a little loud at night but that is to be expected with where it is located. Nice pool, wifi was a little slow but worked ok for us. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a block and only 2 blocks to the beach.

It’s a hotel that really cuts back on investing for renovation. The elevator ir broken and never got fixed. No wifi in the rooms. I know they mention it but who does not have wifi for their guests nowadays. The air conditioning needs cleaning. We had a water leak in out bathroom that has been there for years. (I could tell because it had already opened a hole on the floor where it falls.) It just seems that they don’t work on details.

A nice tourist class hotel. Clean, nice pool, free parking (must leave key), great location. Terrace was a bit dirty and room safe was broken otherwise nice experience.

This is a beatiful hotel with great amenities! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. Our room was extremely clean and spacious! The beds were comfy, but could use better pillows. The water pressure in the shower was the best I've ever had in my life! The restaurant downstairs was also excellent! We absolutely appreciated the ability to store our luggage safely with the front desk as we arrived well before check-in time, as well as use the amenities such as the bathroom and pool. We were also able to store our luggage again after we checked out, as we had a late flight departure. I would definitely stay here again!

Everyone at the front desk was very courteous. There were several rooms available at my check in so the young man at the front desk took the time to show me a few of the rooms and let me make a choice. I really appreciated that as I had never stayed at the Hacienda. I loved my room and will definitely return. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I also loved the location of this hotel.

This is very good hotel, it is hidden jam in the crowded hotel area, I recommend to everyone. When you enter the hotel, the structure is beautiful, swimming pool is in the middle. There is roof top. Room is huge, much bigger than the similar hotel we stayed before. Room is super clean, new renovated bathroom. Furniture is old style but good quality. We like it so much. Bed is comfortable. Overall we feel like this is the most valuable stay in my 15 days trip.

They have a great pool. The sky deck has a lot of potential but is not in use. There was night clubs which kept you up until 3:00am. I can't recommend do to the noise.
