My boyfriend and I enjoyed 3 nights here during Día De Los Muertos. I’ll start with the good stuff:
1. Amazing location right next to the zocalo (of course, It’s in the name)
2. Super trendy hotel
3. Daniel and Antonio were very helpful and very kind during our stay
4. Cafe offers complimentary snacks and beverages. So nice!
Cons:
1. Our room wasn’t cleaned the 3 days during our stay. We did leave the room from 10a-4p for activities and it wasn’t cleaned all 3 days.
2. Face painting was offered to embrace the holiday, which was great. However, we were informed via a note under the door the day before without instructions to sign up. The next day we asked but the appointments were already booked up. We didn’t know we needed to book an appointment. Lack of communication.
3. We weren’t informed that we needed to reserve to watch the parade from the restaurant. We booked this hotel specifically and called the front desk to ask about watching the parade from the balcony but was not told to reserve anything. Again, lack of communication.
4. The concierge was absolutely no help with reservations, booking tickets or making reservations. No follow up on reservations or questions that were pending.
Overall, we rated high because of the few staff who were helpful and kind, and the location. We understand it was a holiday weekend which is challenging, but should be prepared for. We were disappointed by the lack of communication and lack of help from most of the staff

This beautiful hotel is just steps from the Zocalo and all that the historic zone has to offer. The room was spacious and well appointed. We appreciated the bottled water service. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Zocalo was magical.

We had to leave very, very early in the morning. They had our large suitcase already to go and our driver was waiting. Everything went smooth! Also the coffee we were able to get before we left was delicious.

Central location. However it was an uncomfortable stay. AC did not work and had to move rooms multiple times due to the AC not working properly (lowest temp = 25 C).
We were upgraded to a Suite for a night for our inconvenience. However, we were told we had to pay the difference in rate ($100 USD) for our last night if we wanted to keep the upgrade (even though we were told we could keep the upgrade, if available & it was available). Decided to cancel our last night & stay in Polanco instead.
If having AC or having a smart tv to stream Netflix after a long day of sightseeing is not your priority, then stay here.
Central location. Note: Uber can not pick you up or drop off due to daily road blockade.

Zócalo Central was amazing, from the breath taking views for the roof top to their ten star customer service from the general manager to their serving staff. Their rooms are beautiful and full of luxury. I was beyond impressed this stay. I will definitely be back there soon!

5 star experience!! Staff were friendly. We got to our hotel several hours early and they accommodated by allowing early access to our room. The hotel was clean and aesthetically beautiful. Staff were attentive and greeted us with drinks, candy and toys for the kids. Theres a cafe that’s complementary and open 24/7. Drinks, snacks, sandwiches, soup and salads always available which was a big plus. Highly recommend this hotel. Stay here!!

Beautiful Hotel and service was wonderful. Clean and all of the personnel were great! Especially the Concierge staff Michelle and Salvador. Beds were comfortable and bed linens were great. Will go back!

The hotel is located in a perfect spot where you can walk around El Zocalo and explore the area. It’s also in a perfect location if you’re looking for tours that can take you around the city or nearby States outside CDMX. The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly and the food was great.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Mexico City. The entire staff was friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. Not only were there many benefits included, such as the cafe and tourist attractions, but we also had guidance and help booking the attractions and were provided quick transportation to our destinations. My wife especially appreciated our driver, Omar. He was attentive, informative, and prompt, and he felt like a personal driver for the several days we stayed at the hotel. Omar would wait for us at each destination or tourist attraction and then take us to the following location. This made my wife feel safe and comfortable. Omar has impeccable customer service skills, and we appreciate his willingness to help. When we come back, we will be sure to ask for him!
