Great location, big spacious units. The furniture and mattresses could definitely be upgraded.

Excellent location, right near the beach, shops & restaurants. For 5 adults & 2 children the amenities within the apartment covered all bases. We would definitely stay there again.
Key pickup is not at the property & is about a 10 minute walk.
Parking at the property is for 1 vehicle only, but there is covered parking nearby.

In my 20 years of travel, I’ve never written a negative review. I just take the good with the bad and move on. However, I feel compelled to advise anyone considering this property to move on.
In good news, it is well located, spacious and does look mostly as pictured. But that is where the good news ends. I won’t go into every negative detail but I will share two things you must know:
1) The unit is not affiliated with Breakfree who is the primary property manager so no front desk service will be extended to you.
2) The after hours check in process is a joke. Long story short I arrived at 9pm and ended up having to pay for a nights stay at the hotel next door because I did not receive a pin to the lock box which is a 10 min walk away from the property. After requesting reimbursement several times, the owners simply ignored my emails for the duration of my stay though I put in a maintenance request for someone to close the windows as they were rusted open and cockroaches were coming in.
Suffice it to say, the place is far from luxury. AVOID!

The price we paid an the beds were terrible. The cleaning standards where not that good either as we were given one bag for rubbish.

Some small cosmetic improvements would be good!
eg. little paintwork here and there, fix main bathroom glass door, cover plates on some powerpoints, light above heater unit in living room !
None of these would stop us staying in room 269 again though !

It was great. Firstly the price was fantastic, about half the cost of equivalent hotels in surfers paradise. The apartment was well furnished and clean.
Communication from HRSP was good, everything was seamless. We will definitely book with HRSP again.

Apartment was quiet and had great views to the hills and the beach, close to the heart of surfers.

Property was close to beach and walkable to all local attractions with plenty to do. Only downfall is the lack of basics. Hand wash, more than 1 toilet roll, and kitchen staples like salt, pepper etc

On Gold Coast for a week with family. Great location and very comfortable. Apartment was very comfortable and ours being on the 19th floor we had great views.

The GCHR team are easy to deal with, friendly and answer all your questions. View from apt 239 is excellent and it's close to everything in Surfers.

We stayed in apartment 224 and was expecting a bit more for the price. It’s quite dated and not well maintained. It’s in a great location to walk to the beach but the ‘ocean view’ is only from the main bedroom or if you’re out on the balcony. Mainly you’re just looking at the surrounding buildings.
The most surprising thing was the noise. It’s constant. If you’re in the second bedroom you have to keep the window closed at all times as you are directly above an old roller door leading to the carpark. It goes up and down continuously, including all night. People staying in the other tower use it as a thoroughfare instead of walking around. There was also tree loping, gurneying, scooters honking etc. It would be fine for friends or couples but with a young family, it wasn’t ideal.
On a positive note, the two pools and spa were wonderful and it’s an easy walk to lots of restaurants and shops.

Lovely property. Need to watch children on the balconies that surround the rooms, however fantastic views in most directions. Large 3 bedroom apartment with good quality appliances, comfortable beds and most comforts of home. Property doesn't supply toiletries and minimal cleaning products. Also, no beach towels are provided. Great that they provide car parking, however most spaces are very tight. Highly recommended.

Was dirty when entering. No wifi for room. No cleaning liquids or powders like most places. Dryer and washing machine not working cortectly. Old small not smart tv with limited channels. When run reception was rudly told them things arent required and to bad. I agree that they are things that are not required but they are standard things these days. I will not be using this agent or place again.

Awesome property, good size, modern decor and great views. Fully air condioned. However The dryer was pathetic with only a 4kg capacity. This made it hard to dry towels as it wouldn’t go with anymore than 3 towels in there. It would often stop and have to be restarted which is a pain when you only have 6 towels between 5 guests. Was faster to dry over the back of a chair overnight. The clothes so r rack was rusty so could not use and there was no laundry basket. The property was only surface clean with build up around the shower edge, dust on some surfaces and under the mat had not been cleaned for sometime. The tv remote was found down the side of the couch along with lollies, food crumbs and a dollar in coins. The upstand on the kitchen which has a hi-gloss white finish was smeared with gross finger print presumably from kids.
Aside from this it truly was a great property in a great location, handy to all amenities and food.

I had specifically booked an apartment with 2 bathrooms. One barely worked, the other wss not at all functional. Was told each each day when i asked that the parts needed were top quality and had to be ordered in. Not great.

Definitely good value for money if you want a comfortable apartment on the Gold Coast but don't need every bell and whistle. Lack of free Wi-fi is a major drawback.
