Poor location

The workers are so welcoming I felt welcomed But the toilets and bathrooms are leaking

Ventilation of the room I got was good and also reception team was amazing, they were so helpful. Bathroom hot water was on point, really enjoyed taking a warm shower. How ever the WiFi was super slow and later on it just stopped working till we checked out. The network wasn’t strong enough that we couldnt even use it for WhatsApp. During the night there was a lot of noise in the corridor, it was like a brothel through out the night and also cigarette smoke was coming in strong from the room next to us I think it was room number 4. These people are very noisy we didn’t even manage to sleep because they were making a lot of noise. We didn’t find the remote for the TV and also the speakers were not working so there was literally no volume on the Tv. When it comes to entertainment there is really nothing to offer

The lady at the reception are was very warm and friendly. The in general was very nice. The units on the ground seem to be infested with rats in the ceiling..it was incredibly difficult to fall asleep cause of the scratching in the ceiling wall

Good and safe environment

Affordable but basic accommodation. Friendly staff. Some maintenance and renovation would make the rooms more pleasant. Limited television channels but we had good Wi-Fi reception. Overall it was OK for a 2 night stay

This is a pretty decent place. Wi-Fi stronger in certain rooms so ask them for a room where signal is stronger. Food especially dinner is overpriced rather go to Avondale and get Chinese or Nando’s for half the price they charge. But no complain.

The place is so dirty filled with cocroaches, the bathrooms are substandard and the bed was old and instead of having a double as requested i git a 3/4 bed.

Very poor service nobody cares weather theys guests , no cleaning detergent for toilets , no water , not enough information like where how to get curtains things . A self services guest without utensils to use no pots no stove no cutlery , no microwave , no TV working , just a bad and blankets

Privacy

A good budget-friendly guest house. It's not so fancy but cozy.

The lodge is clean and affordable. The rooms are a bit too small. Too much traffic in the neighbourhood, but that's out of their control.

The garden is very nice and cool to relax having drinks but the chairs and tables needs to replaced. Staff friendly and helpful

Perfect

The place is run down. Mould on ceiling. Paint peeling off in the rooms. No air con. Out of 10 I give this place 2. The place was infested with coachroaches.

Its hot no aircon

Honestly this place was terrible for me, I booked online and arrived late in the evening, I got to the room the bedding was dirty and not ironed, floor had ants and cockroaches. Not to mention the staff , they were not friendly at all , I stayed for 2 days and no one came to check if I need any tissues or bathing gel or anything for that matter. There was only a small bathing gel to use one and the next year I used my own soap… poor service . I don’t recommend

I hate it that we had to share a bathroom and there was a leakage in the toilet, and the water was running down to the shower . It was really not convenient 😒however the service was not pleasing at all , especially with the stuff members.

no tissue or towels in the bathroom,condoms in the drawers. loud music and sheets seemed dirty and unchanged

The rooms are nice and clean but there is no fans in the rooms so its very hot during summer, and there is many mosquitoes around, also no towels where provided.

It was amazing

We visited the palace guest house for 3 nights and we really had an amazing experience.The cleanliness and the service was on point.We'll definitely visit again.The staff is friendly and attentive which made our stay easier and enjoyable

even though situated near a busy road there is some quietness you experience in the morning when you wake up. everything was on point from the booking to the check out. good team there. asked for adjustment of time on my breakfast and that was solved without a hustle. it was my first time but will be a regular whenever i'm in the capital

Nice Garden

I think you should change your beds they have spikes and your bathrooms are smelly you need to clean them with something like domestos put curtains or blinds in the bathroom

Place is very good,clean and convenient

There was mould all 9ver the ceilings. The stench of mould is everywhere.
