Friendly family run hotel. Nothing to much trouble. Excellent location. Fresh clean room and lovely breakfast.

Great little hotel. 5 minute walk to the harbour / marina with its plentiful choice of pubs bars and restaurants. Our room was room 1 which was a very spacious room which was on the lower ground floor with its on terrace which was a little sun trap. My only criticism of the room was the bathroom was small but it did the job. The family that run this hotel are so lovely very friendly and very helpful. We would have no hesitation to stay here again. TOP TIPS This hotel is not suitable for those with walking difficulties as it is on a hill and there are steps up to the hotel. There is parking at the rear of the hotel only 4 spaces so i would advise to arrange parking with the owner once you book. The cost is £5.00 per night which is cheaper than the parking permits for street parking.

Last minute booking that turned out to be a very pleasant stay!

Sea view and king size bed? neither were true unless you lean out of the window. The bed was dreadfully soft and certainly not kingsize.not disabled friendly lots of steps, no matter how you access the building.

If you are at all mobility impaired DO NOT STAY HERE. The multiple steps along with minimal or unsafe guardrails would risk your health. No lift so unable to stay in room that I booked and which I asked Hotels .com to ask for accessibility room. According to the owner his web site says he cannort cope with disabled or mobilitity impaired guests. What was Hotels.com staff who booked it over the phone doing. Poor quality breakfast. To be fair the owner tried to be helpful. Parking three quarters of a mile away up a steep hill

We stayed on a quiet day and were ‘upgraded’ at no cost to a lovely and very large room with balcony. The manager was friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again. Very good value indeed. While the hotel might be due a bit of a facelift and refresh of decor, I really couldn’t fault it.
