Great location if you want to explore Centro. Zocalo just round the corner. Big room. Front desk staff friendly and helpful (thankful we had google translate though as our Spanish is non-existent!)
External windows only into atrium shared space so didn’t feel comfortable lifting any blinds. Booked for 3 persons but only two towels, asked for another but it didn’t arrive. Rooftop pool is very small and not sure it was working properly so didn’t end up using even though it was why we booked it.

Other than the description of the room being misleading in many ways, the location is perfect, the entrance always staffed and secure and the room was big, clean and well appointed. If you’re young and can climb the many stairs it takes to get to your room when the over 100 year old elevator is stuck, then by all means this is a great bargain!
Misleading description of Dlx Dbl Studio..the suite’s pool isn’t private but shared by all..no private entrance to unit (it’s a regular entrance)..no separate bedroom in unit..open floor plan..a/c not func. properly..no exterior windows..windows are on the interior courtyard..not sound proof as you can hear conversations in the interior courtyard which has tables for guests to join at..you can hear their loud conversations and laughing..100+ year old elevator always stuck, partly due to guests not closing the doors properly, making one climb many, many stairs as all rooms are on the top 2 floors only..it was not working on Saturday or Sunday..hot water lasts only 5 minutes..see photos of beautiful elevator that was stuck most of the time and the echoing interior courtyard which our only windows were off of.

The room was huge. The air conditioning worked great. Some friends were staying at the Hampton Inn Centro Historico nearby at the same time and paying slightly more but they were not happy with their room and the air conditioning didn't work so I was even more thrilled with my choice. It was really quiet. This location is close to many of the museums and other sites downtown.
Had to wait for a bit to get registered with their app once I arrived but that was the only small inconvenience. The room didn't have a hair dryer (which I think it should).

The warm water runs for a few minutes and then it’s getting cold. You need to turn it off and on again

The room was great.
They charged me 200 pesos for using their washing machine and dryer per day. It was expensive and the dryer doesn’t have enough heat to dry quickly. It took more than 3 hours to make clothes dry.
Also digital key was very inconvenient. I wanted them to register digital key for my husband’s phone. I asked them about it the first day. But they never did.

I liked the room very much. A lot of space, very confortable.
The water in the pool was always cold. We asked the staff to warm it up, but they did not do it. I don't know if, because the hotel was pretty empty, the staff did not care about this (the water, I mean). And the food in the wending machine was old and tasted very very bad.

The A/C in my room didn't work so it was so hot in the room it was unbearable and we weren't able to sleep in the room

Excellent value, excellent facilities, great and friendly staff, slept like a baby. In the bustle of downtown district but the rooms are far enough away from the direct street noise to be peaceful. Without the oddball variables of an AirBnB or the surveillance, over-policed nature of a hotel.
The door and access situation. I had to download an app that ate at my battery. The app to open the front door and my room door never quite worked on my phone so the staff had to open each for me each time I needed entry. But overall, the quality of the place made it worth the small hassle.

Central location, clean, and the downstairs staff was very helpful
It was extremely small for our three people family. We were tripping over each other and the hot water wasn’t consistently working. There was too much noise from the street and patio could be seen from across the street. Our room
Was next to the pool/tub ( the pool was hot tub size) and people on the patio could look in on us no privacy. I wouldn’t stay again.

Very good location, big beds and the room was very big.
The only thing we did not like were the windows that were inside of the courtyard. Therefore we could not keep the curtains away and people were passing by all the time.

The only negative was that during a 4 night stay, housekeeping was only offered on the first day
