Very quiet location, beautiful beach. Listening to the waves at night was so lovely. Pierre was very helpful, he was just helping the owners out as they weren’t there.

A peaceful paradise. For breakfast, they make almost anything anyone wants. Very friendly, helpful staff. The sea is suitable for surfers.

It is located right by the beach, great home made food and drink, everything is built from organic material, perfect place to spend a few days quietly reconnecting with nature.

Very clean, quiet beach. The occasional motorbike but we stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect 'switch off' getaway for relaxing, reading etc. Lots of dogs to fuss around the area. Very local - totally non commercial area. You cant really walk around off the beach and access to food is limited, only a few very local food vendors with limited options. We only stayed for 3 nights so this wasn't an issue - it's nice to be away from chain stores and fast food places for a bit. Very quiet other than the noise of nature and crashing waves. 10m to the beach! The owners are super friendly, staff are professional, friendly and will take good care of guests throughout the stay. Around one hour drive to Sabang where you can visit a couple of ziplines (one in the hills, the other over the ocean and close to the underground river). For the underground river, you can hire a taxi through the hotel - 3500p round trip. It is advisable to book underground river tickets in advance and be prepared for the tour to be cancelled if water conditions are not good. If you have a flight out of Palawan the next day, you may be given priority as per some government policy we were told about. Overall we were very happy here and would definitely go back.

No storage in the room, some hooks inside would be useful (including a hook to hold the door open). Water not provided in room but can buy from the kitchen. Lots of mosquitos, bring spray/patches. Sea not particularly suitable for swimming when we visited but nice for a paddle. Not much to do in the area, no motorbike rental. Limited food and drink options. If you don't like seafood it can be repetitive if having 3 meals a day there. Drinking at the Playa Paraiso kitchen was super chill but you can go to one of maybe another 2 places close by where you can enjoy drinks by the beach. Breakfast is egg + toast or instant noodle with vegetable. Limited seating by the beach so can be irritating if other guests arrive there and are smoking. Bring your own toiletries, inc shampoo (bar of soap provided).

Breakfast was basic

There was no hot water boiler in the room and no storage space for clothes, not even nails on the wall.
