Salha is a wonderful host and the property was clean and comfortable.

The location is quite far out of town and if it is raining a lot quite difficult to get to. There were some minor maintenance issues including the door handle and the lock to get out which need repair but overall it was well maintained.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Elizabeth Home Hostel in Arusha, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the host, Salha, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the emphasis on safety. As a solo traveler, safety is always a top priority for me, and I found this hostel to be exceptionally secure. From the secure entrance to the well-lit common areas (with security cameras), I felt at ease throughout my stay. The spacious and impeccably clean room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bathrooms were impressive, offering warm showers and a range of toiletries that were readily available. It's the little details like this that truly made the difference in my stay. Salha's attention to providing a comfortable environment was evident in every aspect of the hostel. One of the unique features of this hostel is the variety of amenities it offers. If you're a bookworm, you'll be delighted to find a shelf full of books waiting to be explored. For music enthusiasts, there are two acoustic guitars available for those who enjoy playing instruments. In fact, you can even have a guitar in your own room if you wish! Breakfast at Elizabeth Home Hostel was an absolute delight. Salha's culinary skills shone through as she prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast that left me energized for the day ahead. Additionally, Salha graciously offered to show me around Arusha city, providing valuable insights and making my visit even more memorable. The location of the hostel is good, with easy access to the city center. `Bajaji’ (local three-wheeled taxis) are conveniently located just about 200 metres away, making transportation a breeze. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend contacting the host, Salha before your arrival.

free kitchen and the cooking lessons from Salha was exceptional, she took me to the market near the hostel and final teach me how to cook pilau and local salad (kachumbari). i like the breakfast too the house was very clean and she menage all this by her self, Impressive. I stayed in other hostels but I highly recommend this Hostel in Arusha.

The lady working there (Salha) is so friendly and helpful.I just stayed one night but it was a really good place and cozy. Fantastic breakfast, very clean and perfect location.

The Confy bed and room size was great,breakfast fast was exceptional, from the Area i couldn’t expect a perfect homestay like that. Salha the host she is so friendly and funny. I highly recommend this place.
