Location was excellent. In the heart of downtown Kenora. Apartment was clean, bright, roomy and fully stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Room to park in back of the building. Will recommend to friends

So friendly and cozy

The location was good.

I felt it was quite overpriced for what it was. We travelled from Vancouver to Toronto and stayed in 8 different places. This was by far the most expensive and one of the least impressive. It was small, no couch or easy chairs to sit in, not even some milk/cream for coffee. The host could have done some inexpensive touches to make it more worth the money. Ie: even milk/cream for coffee, perhaps a couple of yogurts in the fridge. As it was, we didn’t even have coffee as we don’t drink it black. All other places we stayed were $130 or less and had those small but nice little touches that would save us from having to go out and grab breakfast. It was a nice place, but should have been appropriately priced at $150 maximum, all in at the absolute most. Even at that price it would have been the most we paid in every place we stayed, including a beautiful place in Kelowna with views of rolling vineyards.

The property is really really good. The owner Nicole is super friendly and helpful. The building is set up really well and the room it’s self was superb, really modern and absolutely spotless. They have put a lot of personal touches to the rooms to make it feel homely. A lot of 5 star hotels could learn a lot about cleanliness standards from the owners of this property. Location is also great with the harbour under a 2 minutes walk and free parking at the accommodation. 😃

Nothing. It was excellent value for money

The room was very cozy. The decor made us feel at home. Even has real plants! The owners/managers are very friendly and clearly have their guests comfort at heart. Definitely a must if staying in Kenora.

Nothing at all

Stone House was a pleasant surprise. From booking through to my departure the service was excellent. The accommodations far better than any hotel I’ve stayed at in Kenora and location has a beautiful view of the lake. Everything you could want is within a short walk of stone house. I’m booking three more stays with them.
