Hotel 39 was amazing! The receptionist day/night were top notch with their hospitality and love shown. You’re immersed in the city, close to everything thats happening. Excited and looking forward to coming back here.

Location is right off the end of the hip strip in Mobay. Excellent view. Found myself relaxing on the balcony.

Overall a pretty good stay. Stuff were very friendly and accommodating. I was only there for one night therefore, I had very limited interactions with services but breakfast was wonderful the server was very attentive. The only issues I had with my stay was s the air conditioning in the room can only go as low as 16°C and was not big enough for the size room. Which is not nearly cool enough, especially in the morning when there is direct sun on the room. The second issue was the pillows and bed linen, we're incredibly prickly and itchy. The pillows specifically were made with some hard fiber fill in that pokes through the pillow case. For those reasons I would not stay again but I would definitely recommend anyone give this place a try, because they do everything else right.

I commend the cleanliness of the hotel & professionalism of the staff. The room was comfortable, clean…& quiet for the first part of the night. I quite liked my stay, albeit a short one.
What made my stay unpleasant was a sound that kept waking me up. I suspect it was a door as it sounded like an awful metal that creaked frequently each time it opened & it was opened a lot! I never did discover the source of the sound on the way out but it was right next door to my room.
I should’ve mentioned it to the front desk when I checked out but I so badly wanted to sleep that I wanted nothing more than to just leave.
Would I revisit, however? Yes. I would give this hotel another try. So long as I am not at the end of the hallway on the first floor.

I have family in Jamaica, and we are here visiting from Canada. It was my daughter's 17th birthday l choice stay 3 nights. Hotel was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. We had a server, her name was Nadia she was great!! Treated my kids like her own. 😊I have disability in my legs, walking and steps are always been a issue, Everything was easy to get too. Only problem is air conditioner doesn't go any higher than 31. Room was a bit warm.
I would definitely would stay again on my next visit.

I would say overall the property was okay. The first thing that made me uptight was there was no water in my room or provided upon arrival. Secondly the TV in the room did not work for the 2 days I was there and I wasn’t even compensated or given a service credit at least. Another thing is that most hotels have coffee all day long this hotel I could barely make tea in my room but they should also have single serve coffee available in the room as well. The bar closed super early on a Friday 8PM for a bar in Jamaica on he hip strip no bueno! Overall he property is clean and safe free. Breakfast was okay but they need some work with providing service to their customers.

Money well spent. One of the best experiences me my wife & kids had. We always book resorts when we travel outside the country (All inclusive) and this time we decided to go with a local hotel. The best decision we made. Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff I mean from the front desk to the house keeping, restaurant, and the gentleman at the bar making drinks. The kids loved it. Our 5 days spent at Hotel 39 Jamaica will always be talked about. Very good customer service.

Stayed at hotel 39 for 3nights July 2024.
The hotel is in an ideal location. Was made to feel very welcome on checking in. However the AC in the room did not work for the entire time also there was ants in the room on the day we checked until the next day when the matter was reported and the room was sprayed.The highlight of my stay there was the Breakfast .Freshly cooked breakfast every mornings and very tasty.
Would i stayed here again Yes if the above issues has been rectified

I would first like to thank the staff, from the housekeeper to the front desk and everyone in between. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again if I ever come back to Jamaica. I had minor issues but they were resolve very quickly! Big up the staff!
I will say this hotel doesn't have any entertainment but the good thing it's on the strip and the entertainment is around you. It forces you to go explore. It's very clean and new !

This is my second stay at the hotel. In February, they were just opening and I accepted that for some of the issues I had noticed. The overall experience was terrible and as someone who visits Jamaica with groups 4-5 times per year, I found it to be centrally located and priced well. Still, I would never stay at this facility again. As a matter of fact. I have asked my team to cancel all three group bookings that we had planned for the rest of the year.
- Short staffed -long line up for check-ins
- Poor customer Service/ disrespectful staff
- Long wait time to be served - up to 45 minutes wait time
- No hangers in the rooms

Our stay at Hotel 39 was fantastic! The service was amazing, with staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The concierge provided excellent local recommendations, and the on-site dining was delicious. We had a memorable experience and will definitely be back. Thank you, Hotel 39!

Hotel 39 is a very good hotel with a central location. The rooms and bed are very comfortable and clean. I believe the hotel was recently renovated. Staff was friendly and as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. The beach, restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Breakfast is decent and the ac is very strong. My only issue was that the water pressure in the shower is a bit weak, although it is fine in sink. I recommend staying here. It’s a nice and very clean hotel.

I was pleasantly suprised. Great location on the Hipstrip. Next door to Pelican restaurant. Easy check in, friendly staff. Spacious room. Pool needs some renovations and lots of stairs to access the pool area. Good breakfast options and included, although the portions were modests. Definitely recommend for a reasonably priced 3 star hotel.

I would like start off with the entire work staff was AWESOME especially during such chaos of hurricane Berly. Brittney Topping lead front desk and her staff eveyone of them handle so many hats with grace. People like Jorgette, Navada, Janice, Damien the bartender and i know i am leaving some out not purposely but because i forgot there name. The manager Jarrett was outstanding very hands on made my stay even better. I never stayed there before but they have a new loyal customer out of this visit i can probably write a book on the things they did well. Even though we had no power the still delivered a level of EXCELLENCE.

I could not get the TV to work and the AC did not cool the room. There is no food on the property for the exception of breakfast.
