Rodrigo and his family are incredibly nice! I arrived midnight and Rodrigo waited to show me the room. The blanket is warm enough and the breakfast is delicious (especially their natural orange juice). The bathroom is clean and shower with hot water. The location is very central but quiet as well. I recommend you to stay here.

Rodrigo was very helpful, gave me a lot of information in English. Room was comfortable, Hot shower and breakfast was fine. Laundry service was convenient (weekdays only). The location was interesting, women selling herbs and flowers in the early morning in front of the hotel.

The best place in La Paz! Central location and Rodrigo (the host) is fantastic, so calm and helpful - and we loved our stay here. Would definitely recommend!

The only tiny thing to mention is that the second time we stayed the bed in our room wasn’t as comfy, however, the room was lovely and the first time we stayed the bed was super comfy! We still absolutely loved our time staying!

Comfortable room, hot shower, good breakfast and perfect location. Price quality this is top! Most importantly, Rodrigo and his family were very welcoming and arranged so much for us (from airport taxis, to Bolivia Hop tours to Titicaca, to proper SIM card registration). This made us feel really comfortable and at ease at Iskanwaya! Would highly recommend! :)

Excellent staff. Especially Rodrigo is an outstanding helper and guider for things I need to know for the city and the hotel. I would strongly recommend this hotel and myself will come again if I travel this area. Again best hotel for the price and best staff I have ever met.

The location is good, right next to the Rodriguez market; room is spotless and spacious and cozy; breakfast is really good, cereals, bread, fruits, juice and coffee/tea; the owner is such a nice guy and he speaks good English

Awesome place, the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The location is amazing close to the main tourist attractions and the cable cars. The place was clean, comfortable and very affordable.

Rooms where very clean and spacious. It is a family owned place and Rodrigo who runs the place is great and helpful in every way. From tours, to transportation, to laundry he was there to help. I rarely stay in hostals but staying in this one has completely changed my mind. Hostal is also in a great area. Close to alot of meeting spots for tours. Place don't hesitate to stay here

Strategic location, beside flower market and near to witches market. Thank you Mr Rodrigo (person in charge) - friendly, very helpful in giving advise on trips and help me to book trip to Copacabana & bus to Uyuni. He arranged for my early morning airport pick up, allowed me early check in & late check out with reasonable cost. Rodrigo kindly offered and prepared simple breakfast for me before my early departure for the daytrip (really appreciate it). Good WiFi access and stable. I booked for 3 nights and ended up extending another 2 more days. Really enjoyed my stay at Hostal Iskanwaya.

The location was great, close to the main attractions. The staff were amazing and it was the most friendly place I stayed in during my trip to the South America.

- Easily the friendliest and most helpful hosts we had in all Bolivia - Fantastic breakfast with eggs, cheese, two types of bread (not just toast), fruits and vegetables - Later check-out was no problem at all - Communication in English - clean, comfy rooms & bathroom with warm shower -> would 100% recommend staying here!

This hostel is in a fantastic location and was a very comfortable place to stay. The host is absolutely wonderful, he is very helpful and has in depth knowledge about the city. He has great suggestions of activities and was very accommodating.

the only downside of the excellent location is the street noise. Friday and Saturday night revellers were the worst but also there is an everyday flower market outside which starts setting up from 4am. Nothing to be done about this but just to be aware….

Could not recommend Hostal Iskanwaya any more. The rooms were big and comfy, hot shower and location is really central. Rodrigo the host could not be any more helpful. He helped us to book tours, buses and taxis and made sure everything was ok for us. The breakfast was the best we have had in our stays in South America-Proper coffee, eggs, fresh bread, juice and plenty fresh fruit to take as you please. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
