Just booked a balcony room through expedia. Was looking forward to the pool. When arrived there seemed to be construction works. All balconies closed, pool closed, no breakfast. When I looked again on the website it's mentioned in the fine print below. Who checks that when the description mentions a pool and a balcony. Very dissappointing for the highest price in the area.
Also 2 strange hairs in my bed and an alarm clock with usb but no plug in the wall. Why is it even there then?
Shower made a whistling noise and the connecting door moved with the wind.
Great bed but didn't sleep well.
Filled in a survey after check in but no response. Nothing was asked upon check out.
I wouldn't recommend.

Balcony was condemned. Legal notice if we used it imprisonment or thousand dollar fine!!! Pool was closed. Access to ocean closed! Restaurants closed! No room service! TV not working. Terrible!

We booked that room or hotel for the beach view balcony but it was a set back. Not saying it was their fault but it could have been highlighted more so that it catches our eye. The rooms had a great view of the ocean with balcony, which they told us we could not use. It was clean and very spacious, but getting old and needs renovations. They charged for parking, although the parking lot was empty. It was not worth the high price.

Our stay was not what I had expected it to be. The doors were whistling since we had a rain storm and it drove everybody absolutely nuts. They did not offer coffee in the lobby. They also did not offer food. It was very poor and very limited definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Very friendly staff. Balconies are off limits which they don’t tell you until after you book but it wasn’t a problem. Very limited food options. The cafe is only open for breakfast and the tiki bar/cafe (actually, just a little side room with a tiny bar) only serves until 6. The food in both places is outrageously priced ($15 omelette. $7 bagel. $15 cocktail). Too bad, because Ben our server:bartender was amazing. Everything you could want from a hospitality employee

Definitely not worth the price. All in all it wasn’t a horrible stay, but the rooms are small and oddly set up. Like why would you put a refrigerator in the same area as the bathroom without a door at least separating them. Many other hotels in the area for the same price point.

It was nice, sketchy people around area but the hotel was clean and people were nice and wasn’t crowded but it is off season

I’ve always loved our stay, the employees are very nice. Restaurant is pricey. The balcony wasn’t opened and this is a big deal to us. We look forward to listening to the ocean. I hope to stay again if the balconies are opened

The major problem with the hotel is the construction for the renovation. That wouldn’t have been a problem if someone would have thought about it before hand. The hotel was pretty empty and we were placed right below a renovation. I mean I get if it was packed but from the cars in the lot and all the amenities running with 1 person. I doubt there were more than 50 people. Poor placement and strategies when doing the Reno. There was no need for the room to be under a room getting Reno’d

The hotel was very comfortable with excellent views of the ocean. Ben who worked both the front desk and pool bar was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. Only issue was the balconies were closed. I may have overlooked that when booking.

We had a relaxing time in this beautiful ocean front. We were told we couldnt use the balconies and agreed to move forward on the reservation. When we arrived the view was breathtaking and we wished we could have been able to sit outside.

The balcony’s where under construction the view was still good but their corner balcony’s have the best view in Brevard county I was advised at check in that we wouldn’t be able to use the balcony as they where under construction the host advised I should have gotten a email regarding this matter but I didnt that’s not the hotels fault over all I love this hotel it’s clean and staff is always friendly just wish they would have fixed the issues with the balcony’s before my stay

The staff at the hotel were friendly, knowledgeable and customer orientated. The hotel was clean and had beautiful views of the ocean. I stayed at this property 30 years ago and I would say it has not had an renovation since then. It was very minimal, no outlets (beside behind the bed and tv) or clocks in bedroom. The balconies were condemned (they had called us in advance to tell us) so we could not enjoy the beautiful sunrises from our balconies. Until they do some of these renovations, I believe the hotel rates should match the amenities.

Air conditioner is loud. I've been in the cargo hold of a C-130 before (4 propeller military plane) and it was a similar experience. So yeah. Room condition was 2 star beach rating at best. But the beach was nice and semi private. The view from the room was great (even without a functioning balcony) Note that the hotel sits next to a dog park so if you hate dogs there are hundreds of dogs nearby almost always. We don't, but just an FYI. One great thing was the staff. Always very friendly and helpful. 10/10 for service. 3/10 for most everything else.

Our room was covered in ants. The air handler in the hotel room sounded like an airplane engine all night long and the sink was literally cracking and disconnecting from the wall. Bathtubs were clogged. Couldn’t even take a shower without it filling up the staff did give us a new room, but didn’t offer any other recompense

We like the ocean view from the room and on the front you can see the entire city. It was relaxing, enjoyable, and peaceful. The food in the surrounding areas was amazing and good price. The only thing we did not like was the pina colada brought at the hotel because it did not taste like pina colada. Among the ingredients, it needs to have piña in it and it did not.
