Hotel and staff and breakfast all superb. English is commonly spoken by all staff. Poll and gym, superb!

Excellent stay at Crowne plaza for 3 days. The staff is very friendly, close to the shopping complex and train station. (Stayed with family and kids).

We stayed here for 2 nights. Family of 4 and had 2 inter-connecting rooms. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent (as per otehr reviews). Our main purpose of the trip was to visit the Zoo and this is 3-4 mins walk away. Also close to lots of shopping/ dining options. It was perfect for what we wanted and good transport links. As per other reviews, the pool is on the chilly side - although not a deterrent to going swimming; and some road noise although living in London, this didn't bother us at all.

Awesome location in the heart of West Berlin. Hotel is clean, staff friendly and provides everything you need plus an indoor lap pool!

Great location in east Berlin. Great quiet comfortable rooms, with local tv channels. Great location. Very nice breakfast. Great reception staff Few glitches though. A. Not enough towels. B. 41$ city tax for 1 night sounds high. C. Booked for 2 nights, and was charged for both nights, although, due to train delay, had to stay overnight in Frankfurt and skip, 1 night stay in the Berlin. Hotel. Overall very highly recommended. Great return for the payment

Breakfast was a bit too basic Room safe didn't work and street-side rooms have considerable noise. Ask for a room in the back. Towels extremely thin. Nothing special or unique. Better value hotels exist. Pool is underground and very small. Location is good.

Overall, the stay was good and the hotel had a good standard and location. Unfortunately, there were problems with check-in and this unfortunately took a very long time.

The hotel was nice and centrally located- the bathroom had not been properly cleaned and the sheets had not been changed

Superb stay overall. Staff brilliant on arrival. Hotel clean, bright and modern. Great location with U station 5 minutes away from which you can explore this wonderful city. Suggest you purchase a Berlin welcome card that allows you to travel around Berlin without having to worry about getting a ticket every day. Breakfast is amazing at the hotel with an incredible selection. Didn’t eat at ‘bar’ as lots of places to explore and eat within a short distance. Small swimming pool but at no stage was it busy so nice to cool off. Sauna was great (but be aware that it is traditional at times) Overall I cannot recommend this hotel enough… we have had an amazing time exploring a wonderful city and learning a lot of the history behind it.

The pool is quite nice and I like the location of the hotel. Rooms are old and not in the best condition. Fridge was dirty.

There was en empty beer bottle in our room when we checked in, and the room was the really cold. The Air condition would not heat, so every member of the family woke up coughing and sniffling.

Location is convenient but the hotel is not a great family hotel. The rooms were a disappointment. We asked for connecting rooms since we were traveling with children but they could not do that nor did they try even though we booked about 6 months in advance. The beds and room is average and the bathroom is the worse one I've seen. It's very tiny and claustrophobic. Towels are limited and just old; they were scratchy and thin. The shower is in the entry way and barely two feet wide, two people can not fit in this bathroom. The main lobby is deceiving as it looks nice but the rooms are a huge disappointment. Breakfast was average. We went for Eurocup and the hotel lobby has advertisements for Eurocup but when we asked at the front desk for details they were rather rude. There were a few people that were pleasant, a young guy that fixed our bedroom safe and a young girl at the front desk at nighttime. I would not stay again.
