This was my 3rd stay this year alone and there’s a reason for that. The staff are great, so polite, so helpful and just on top of everything. That’s the reception, all the way down to housekeeping who do a fabulous job. Already can’t wait to go back in the new year

Hotel stay was ok, staff where friendly but the room was unclean dirt around the bath crumbs on the floor and when i raised this its been ignored. If not for this it would have been a great stay.

Amazing stay! The staff are so friendly and will do anything for you. You walk in and you are greeted with a smile from everyone. Amazing place to stay and the staff are amazing also! 12/10 🙂

Amazing Hotel in a fabulous position. Fantastic facilities run by Staff that were so friendly and made you feel so welcome with whatever you wanted to do. Very relaxed atmosphere at all times of day. Pub & Spa / Pool area such a joy and pleasure to be in. Can’t wait to go again.

Went for a long weekend for a birthday celebration three nights four days.
The bed was not comfortable at all and on speaking to house keeping manager the mattress were a new brand and not as advertised as a firm bed, topper added to mattress was ok. The room and facilities were adequate more storage area required and bathroom cabinet would off been handy. Shower head rail broken and leaked on shower hose, shower glass door leaked on floor. Hot tub on patio was amazing made the break if not for this would off left hotel early. The swimming pool water was cold and did not stay in long, steam room not working and had not been working for days. The spa treatment full body massage fantastic staff amazing and explained in full detail what was included and to be done.Main Hotel restaurant good food and price reasonable. Pub food at spa, to hot in pub to eat and food not good. Staff overall were fantastic always happy to help and nothing was too much. Staff are a credit to the hotel always went above and beyond,100 % to all. Would stay again if issues sorted.

Room was excellent.
Food in Mizumi was overpriced for their offering. Charged us for water £5, not good when paying the over flared prices for the restaurant.
Breakfast was buffet style, everything was overcooked and hard had been under the lights for too long and was actually cold. No offer of tea and coffee as you are seated… for a five star hotel at the prices they charge per night. Breakfast should be served…water in spa was cold both in the pool and hot tubs.. steam room out of action… all in all would not rate this hotel.

Was made to feel very welcome from driving through the gate to leaving, the attention to detail left no stone unturned cleanliness was top notch and so was all the staff could not have asked for anything more.

This is a wonderful hotel immaculate throughout. There is even a Bentley car to take you on local journeys ! Their Fusion restaurant is really nice. The spa is small with parts sadly not working but was being fixed.

The attention to detail at this hotel makes all the difference! Spa facilities were perfect we enjoyed a lovely few hours in the evening with a couple of Proseccos and then another lovely couple of hours in the morning with a coffee. Best hotel I’ve stayed in so far in the lakes, cannot recommend enough!

The room was great, and the staff were fantastic very friendly. I was disappointed that we had to wait nearly 20mins today to get into breakfast. I feel there could be a better way of arranging that. The food we had during the stay was great. Especially in the Japanese restaurant.

Everything was perfect, the room was spotless, the hottub was lovely, the breakfast was perfect. We were even upgraded!.
The only things i would say is the bathroom could be more roomier, the shower could be updated with better water pressure. But other than that it was perfect.

Absolutely stunning hotel, really special attention to detail. It feels like a luxury stay! The staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. Lovely location and plenty to do on site too. Would love to go back soon!

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times and I have always absolutely loved it here but last night there was a major power cut, I wouldn’t have minded but the staffs attitude was shocking telling us all it is not their problem or their issue and basically just to get on with it, our room was absolutely pitch black we couldn’t see a thing not to mention the fact we couldn’t use the spa which is so upsetting as it was my partners birthday and this is the whole reason why I booked this hotel. I understand things can happen but to be told just to grab a candle and either sit in the bar or go to our room was shocking. It was very dangerous on the stairs as we could not see a thing. What made this worse was when we awoke in the morning the power was still off, as for breakfast this was obviously off too.
Just a shocking overall experience as the staff did not once try and make things any better for us all, alls I kept being told was this is not our problem! When you have paid a decent amount of money for a spa stay it is genuinely upsetting & not even to be offered a thing is disgusting! This hotel is suppose to be a 5 star so standards are obviously highly (definitely shouldn’t have staff telling me to just grab a candle and get on with it!)
This birthday trip was absolutely ruined and I am so upset over the overall experience especially when you have saved up for this hotel.

A beautiful hotel in beautiful area of the world. Just a short walk into the centre of Bowness and all the bars, cafes, shops and restaurants. It’s a perfect location and venue for a few days away.
However, the best thing about the whole experience were the staff at the hotel. Everyone from the lovely guy at the car park entrance to the reception staff and those working in the restaurant were so friendly, helpful and made a lovely hotel feel warm and welcoming.

Food at Mizumi excellent again (just need the light to be slightly brighter on the booth seats)
Lovely time in the spa again, only small but luckily not many people in at the time (though we were surprised children were allowed in-would be better to be more peaceful)
