Great welcome at reception when I arrived and really appreciated the tip re secure parking in garage given that my Honda CR-V is amongst the most stolen vehicle in Canada!!! Very thoughtful!! Plan to stay here again when in Montréal!! Merci

The indoor pool was very warm, and plenty of towels. The outdoor pool was a unsightly green cesspool. The front desk clerk mentioned the pool was in the basement, so we took the elevator adjacent to our room down. This took us to the basement, but the staff side. We walked through, found the pool. But it was concerning the general condition of the staff area. Shows they clearly don't put money where it won't be seen.

I enjoyed the stay. Staff was friendly as well. Every time I spoke with someone, they took their time to address my concerns. They allow you to charge your car with your own charger at any point available around the parking. The only downside is that they don't clean your room everyday unless you request them 24 hours in advance. I guess it is very standard in canadian hotels. In US, they tend to clean the rooms everyday. Parking can be very busy on saturday evening if there is a party or wedding at the hotel. Music was loud on saturday night but I did not have trouble sleeping as I was too tired.

The property overall was a great property. There are some updates that are needed, however like the keys For the doors could not be put in the same pocket as a cell phone or electronic device because it would automatically lose magnetism. The property is going under a little construction, so I'm hopeful that next time I stay there it'll be more updated.

This was a great location near the Biodome and the metro station. We enjoyed the large space in the room and the very comfortable king-sized bed. Some of the furniture is in need of refurbishing as the whole bottom of the bathroom sink's cabinet seemed all chewed up. There was also something strange with the toilet, so we mentioned that to the staff and they said they'd look into it. For a one night stay, it was exactly what we needed and we had a great experience overall!

While affordable and conveniently located, and staff seem good, this hotel gave us bed bugs and has not been responsive to us trying to reach them.

Conveniently located to the event I was attending. Hotel was nice. I wish the rooms had a microwave and my room's sink plug was stuck closed.

The only unpleasant thing was that people were smoking close to the enter/exit doors outside, making the smoke unavoidable.

We had our car glass broken but nothing taken from inside , so they wanted the car ( Lexus SUV) . After that incident the exit gate stayed down and you needed your room card to exit . Too little , too late for the other 2 families and our headache to get door glass fixed on our vacation .

You need to really know about your options here and you will have a great stay. 1 location : the area is near the Biodome and the Olympic stadium so entertainment and activities are plenty. 2. An IGA is next to the hotel and so getting groceries was not a problem. Lots of food options. Having a car or ordering via app would make life easy. 3. There was a underground parking and finding spaces was never an issue. 4. Elevators are very slow but taking the stairs ( two wells) will make life very easy. 5. Ask for a renovated suite and they will provide. 6. Bathroom Doors close through pressing the knob so ask the reception about it. 7. There are some minor issues here and there but the rooms and beds are comfortable. If you find the price alright, go for it.

Really enjoyed my stay at Universel. Great customer service, clean and spacious room, EXTREMELY comfortable bed and pillows. Will definitely come back

We stayed for one night to participate a karate tournament that was nearby. It served our purpose. Decent hotel if you want to stay for a short visit.

Everything was fine.

Shower had molding on tiles and headboard little dusty. Overall it was good stay. Breakfast was good.
