I had made a reservation at this property through booking.com. I arrived at the property around 1am and the person at reception said that they could not recognise my booking. This was really frustrating and sad to hear as I had travelled from far to the hotel in the middle of the night. I showed the person at reception my booking.com reservation and they said they couldn't help me. I had to persist by telling them that booking.com is recognised internationally by several hotels. They then managed to find my reservation after 30 minutes but said that booking.com did not synch with their systems, which made me really upset. They then called their colleague and confirmed that they can give me a room as per my reservation. The person at reception was very rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. They asked me a card for payment and then said that they cannot accept debit cards. In the UK it is common to use debit cards and it did not say anywhere in their terms and conditions that they cannot accept debit cards. After 30 minutes of arguing which resulted in me crying, they called their colleague and confirmed that they can accept the debit card provided that I pay a CAD 200 refundable deposit, which I did. It took 1 hour to gain access to a room that I had made a reservation for. I was so stressed and disturbed by the experience that I did not sleep the whole night. A horrible experience.

The Lady at the Reception Counter, whom We didnot ask name, was smart enough to Answer my Questions, but not fulfil 'Our Request' of NOT TO GIVE ROOM FACING HIGHWAY where there will be Vehicle Movement Sound. We been Given Room Number 303, Couldn't even Sleep properly for a few hours atleast due to heavy sound due to Vehicles movement over highway road..!
Irony is that.., while I Requested about My room to be alloted/given 'not facing highway roadside', over the Reception Counter, the receiving lady, with a big smile she said pointing her hand and saying 'the room is on the otherway opposite to road facing where you dont get vehicles sound', but not highway road facing..!
On the other hand we were tired enough travelling by flight and reaching this hotel destination; spent time sleepless night..!
Do Indians/I Look so strange or look like 'taken for granted' to this Hotel Team though I even paid SECURITY DEPOSIT MONEY apart from My roomrent ..?!

It was literally an overnight stay for family responsibilities in the area. We didn't avail ourselves of any amenities. However this was our 3rd stay here and the staff, as always, was excellent, gracious and accommodating.
I wasn't impressed we the elevated parking site. The stairway to access it had not been cleared of ice and snow, making it extremely hazardous. This was 2 days after the latest snowfall. I reported it to the staff when I checked in, but when I left the next morning it hadn't been rectified.

Staff was excellent, our rooms were grouped together and clean.
The Friday and Saturday evening/afternoon or our stay hockey teams/families took over, parents drinking and talking loudly in the hallways and around elevator. Children running and screaming in hallways, up and down stairwells.
We were in Montreal for a swim meet, and our athletes go to bed and get up very early. They did not get the rest they needed those nights, as the screaming children were up until well after 11pm.

The room was supposed to have a king bed - we ended up in a very small room with a double bed. I have a Queen at home - this was a smaller bed. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. I tried the sofa bed - same thing - very uncomfortable.

This Hotel needs a lot of TLC! The furniture in our room was old and the chair was in a desperate need of a change...and the carpet had many stains! The bathroom was clean! However there was rust in the sink!
