This hotel is what I love about HIE all over the country. Systemic uniformity and the expectation of at least the minimum of the brands standards being kept. This little hotel isn’t the newest, and is in the most inconvenient location to get to the parking lots (hidden behind other businesses- you sort of have to go through parking lots to get to it). But the rooms are exactly what you get from the east coast to the west coast and from the south to the north. The breakfast is dependent on who is stocking it. Day one was a coffee bottle neck because the lady forgot to hit the start button after about 4 people complained about needing new coffee, I thought people where going to go brew it themselves at that point, the next day, different lady, no waiting on anything. The spa was down which wasn’t a bonus as I was hold and looking forward to hot tub but the pool is a decent size.

I booked this hotel SPECIFICALLY for its pool and jacuzzi, as my high s hool senior had a very tough football game and was absolutely goung to need the jacuzzi. Large room with extremely comfortable beds. We were able to be on the third floor with no-one on either side. It was extremely quiet.

Breakfast was ok, not amazing, not terrible, staff was mostly friendly. Room had hair in bathroom and needed a better second glance by housekeeping but not dirty

Room and breakfast were great. Pool and hottub have lift for mobility clients. The carpet in gym was coming apart, and the mat was very old. No wipes for gym equipment. Smallest dumbbells were 30 lbs. . ( my only concern was the gym) staff was very good.

** Disappointing Stay - Overpriced and Subpar Experience I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations, especially considering the high price. Here are the key issues: **Overpriced:** The rates are far too high for what you actually get. I expected a luxurious experience given the cost, but what I encountered was far from it. This hotel does not offer good value for the money. **Spa and Hot Tub Not Working:** One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the advertised spa and hot tub. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find out that both were out of service. There was no prior notice or apology from the management, which was incredibly frustrating. **Cleanliness Issues:** The cleanliness of the hotel was also lacking. My room had visible dust in several areas, and the bathroom didn’t seem properly cleaned. Common areas like the hallways and lobby were not well-maintained either, giving the entire place a run-down feeling. **Worst Breakfast Experience:** The breakfast was by far the worst part of the stay. The food was cold, stale, and very limited in options. To make matters worse, the breakfast area was overcrowded, with not enough seating for guests. The staff seemed overwhelmed and inattentive, leading to a chaotic and unpleasant dining experience. Overall, this hotel was a huge disappointment. I do not recommend staying here unless they make significant improvements.

The hotel in general is good, the service was good. Breakfast is good. Room were clean. The parking is hard and the safe was closed and it wouldn’t open. I asked the front office how to reset it as I needed to put inside our passports as we are from Canada and we had our passports to go through the border. The lady told me that there was something in the machine th as t resets the safe code and I needed to check after a couple of hours, but I return late that day and next day was our check out. From what I understood, they knew about the safe problem but they didn’t do anything. Anyway, overall rate is good.

As for outside of property, there was homeless people in lot. I felt unsafe walking to gas station that was on property. The last night we stayed there there was group of people blasting speaker in parking lot outside room at ;am. Called front desk, they did nothing. I would never stay there again or recommend it to anybody.

This property is in need of much needed maintenance throughout the property. Hinges are rusty, doors are water damaged, walls are well dinged, curtains and drapes are well worn and furniture is frayed.
