Very happy with the room itself, clean, comfortable, functional. My room was on the first floor overlooking the noisy square, didn’t sleep because of noise and people under the window, when they stopped, market started opening and noise started again. Could hear every word.

Great stay! Regina’s location is fabulous. You walk to the centro storico and the stazione centrale in minutes and there are endless food options all around. Staff were very friendly, breakfast adequate and rooms clean and very functional. I plan to return!

Breakfast was lovely. The reception staff were happy to let me use my not-very-good Italian and use English when I got stuck. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the main square in Bologna so it's in a very good position

Convenient location in walking distance to Bologna Centrale train station and to the main Piazza Maggiore. The “window” for the little Venice canal is nearby too. Multiple cafes, osterias, and restaurants to choose from on the next street over from the hotel. Shops line the porticos along the Via Dell’Indipendenza running in front of the hotel. Property is dated and rooms small but normal for the price range. Breakfast was included with some hot and many typical Italian sweet items. Generally liked the stay at Hotel Regent for it’s proximity to many things that I wanted to see in Bologna.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. It has a great location mid way between the train station and Piazza Maggiore. The rooms are large and comfortable and the air conditioning is excellent in the public areas. There is a good, varied breakfast every morning and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is no bar but it is possible for guests to use the one in the sister hotel next door. Thoroughly recommended.

Overall good. Ordinary rooms are very small and the bathroom door slides and doesn’t fully seal, which may not be ideal for some people sharing a room. They also no longer give guests tissues, which is a bit odd.

A nice place to stay for a quick visit… quiet. The breakfast was nicely presented and showers were hot. The beds were fairly comfortable and the rooms dark.

Air conditioning in the rooms needs upgrading (very poor quality on full power)
Communal areas could do with a revamp (carpets etc look dated and stained in places)
Staff fantastic and very pleasant with out 7 months old daughter.

Well I guess you get what you pay for. Where do I start? First, the air conditioner barely worked. We were up half the night because it was so hot. 2nd, the hot water was out the whole 1st day. But I guess we needed an ice cold shower after sweating all night. They said it was repaired on the 2nd day but it went from freezing to just cold. There is also a smoke detector that blinks all night long on the bedroom ceiling, so bring an eye patch. All in all not a great experience.

It was an excellent accommodation for the price you pay. The room was very small, but very clean and bed was comfortable; the location is excellent (near bus stations, main station and maximum 10 minutes walk to the centre of the old town, near shops and restaurants). The service was very good, breakfast was ok. Overall I had a very pleasant stay here.

Parking a must if u don’t want u r car to be scratched or keyed like our car got . We left it across the hotel in front of the driving school and found our car key’d .it is not the hotels fault

Very nice but small room which is standard for Europe. Location was walkable to the train station and to city center on the main street. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.
