The place is good, cozy and they have good food in the restaurant. Staff is professional, they are helpful.
What we don’t like; the shower is so weak, no hot water and we even have to ask the front desk for toilet paper, there’s no shampoo and bath soap either.

Balai Princesa was a quiet, intimate, comfortable stay.
We were a group of three and stayed for a night before traveling to El Nido.
Staff and service were excellent. Upon arrival to Puerto Princesa (literally landing at PPS), I had contacted them via email at the last minute to set-up an airport transfer and they were quick to respond. Kudos to the communication and for accommodating our transportation needs at the last minute.
We were greeted upon arrival and check-in was smooth and easy. I had already expected to pay a cash deposit (required by the stay), but it was waived since we were only there for an evening.
Our room (family room) was simple and comfortable. Bathroom amenities were excellent with two separate showers and a toilet.
We decided to try their in-house massage/spa service and we all got their “Balai Signature Massage”. It did not disappoint. Not only did we get a massage, but we got to utilize their saunas and jacuzzis located in the backyard of the premises. All we had to do was schedule the massages two hours prior and we were set to go.
We also enjoyed Lihim Café which was located on the premises in the lobby. We enjoyed both lunch the day of arrival and their complimentary breakfast the following morning.
Huge shoutout and thank you to the staff for making Balai Princesa a smooth, comfortable, relaxing and easy stay even if we were there just for an evening. It was memorable. I’d come back again if I ever visited the area again.

We also took advantage of their spa services and got a couples massage, which was one of the best massages I’ve had in a while. We also had a fun time hanging out in the jacuzzi.
The restaurant (Lilim Cafe) had some of the best food we had during our stay in the Philippines, to my pleasant surprise! Would highly recommend.
The only (minor) issue we encountered was the slow/unreliable wi-fi in our room (might not be an issue for all rooms, but was for ours). We had to go out into the lobby or the restaurant whenever we wanted consistent and adequately fast internet connections.
Despite this, we would book again!

Just only 5 rooms when stayed there. Adding more i believe... Good food at the cafe...bacon wrapped shrimp awesome......Had a jacuzzi & sauna which was excellent. Would stay again for sure.

This place was perfect. Manager and staff were all very helpful and polite. The facilities include a spa and sauna which were complimentary. Best for couples who want a quieter and relaxing stay.

It's an ok property to stay at for the night. The place was clean and staff are friendly and attentive. Internet connection wasn't very good. And we kept hearing noises during our stay.

Quiet, spa-like atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. No tv or fridge in room. Nice bathroom. Five minutes from airport, 10-15 minutes from major shopping malls and markets. One and a half hour from underground river tour and swimmable beaches. Hotel should expand website to include helpful information for tourists.

There was a lot of potential for the place but unfortunately it was very dirty and dusty. They place wasn’t what I expected when I saw this on Expedia. I was disappointed in the facility.

Sauna and hot was nice after day of activities and dinner.
Staff very helpful with booking tours, scooter rental, delivered us to airport, laundry service only 350 pesos.
