The staff was amazing! Outstanding customer services! One night we got to stay in one room, tue conditions weren't the best, but the second night we got moved to a much bigger and better room! I definitely recommend it. Thanks to the amazing staff for making it a great stay for us.

The service was excellent! They let you keep your luggage there until it is time to check in. And they let us keep our luggage there until we boardedbour ship. I would stay here again.

Our first room had damage to the walls, peeling paint and smelled of mildew. Later we discovered the carpet by the bed was wet, likely leaking through the wall from the shower? They were able to move us to another room with a view of the mountains, which was a treat.

We found the team employee who checked us in via phone was very helpful. We originally had a third floor room and we needed a second floor or first level room and the employee helped us with that request. The room was large and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and the attached restaurant has very good food.

Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and helpful. That was the end of the enjoyment of my stay. The room was cramped and smelled musty. Nothing about this room was nice. I definitely did not match the pictures shown on the website. In the middle of the night, I discovered the heater was running and had no way to turn it off- I did open the window and the room cooled off a little. There were several bugs in the shower and the plumbing was questionable. I was glad that my reservation was for 1 night only and I won’t be returning.

The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We looked how they had roku, so we could log in to Netflix for the kids while we were taking breaks between exploring and meals. We enjoyed our stay.

The room smelled. There weren’t enough towels. We had to ask and wait a day to get a hair dryer.

Very old, run down, property. Hole in bathroom ceiling. Torn screen door. This place is in a good spot, but definitely needs updated and cleaned better.

This place is a filtgy dump. Nasty carpet, sheets not clean used by previous guests, lady at front desk had to change sheets for us. Bathroom had piss and mold all around the toilet and tub lady from the front had to clean for us very nasty and dirty hotel but it was our only option in town. Much better options in the area so make sure you book early. The front desk was very nice nice and pleasant. That’s the only thing they got going for them. She is such a sweetie.

There was past tenant hair in the restrooms and covering the linens. Staff was nice, but accomodations need to attention.

The property exterior appearance with the 1- foot- tall lawn, cigarette butts and overall untidiness was nothing like the picture in their ad. Our unit was large with a small stove top. The burners were showing extreme age...and...there was food from a previous renter on the burners. After we went to dinner at a restaurant down the street we began to settle in for a good night's sleep. During our "before sleep" wash-up, we learned that there was no hot water in the unit at all. Just "glacier cold" water. This was 8:30PM. At 8:40 PM I walked to the office and told the attendant. Office hours end at 9PM. The attendant told me she was contacting maintenance...a repairman arrived at 10PM...could not resolve the hot water issue and left us with no one to talk to in the office about transferring to a unit with hot water....an option the desk clerk never brought up. I don't know the occupancy situation, but the parking lot was less than half full. Morning came...we did have a good sleep. I washed my hair in water so cold it caused ice "chips" to form when it contacted my scalp. Even though the time was within open office hours nobody came to the front desk when I rang the bell for service. I returned an hour later with staff present and asked for a refund...expecting a counter offer and apology. The clerk told me she had to refer the matter to her manager...took my phone number and expressed her sympathy. To date... no call from her manager. Would rate "0" if I could.

Make sure you ask for a portable fan - we forgot until late each night and it got very hot in our room even though it was not hot outside. Our check-in was delayed, but thankfully we had people to go hang out with for a couple of hours. The staff was very friendly and the views from our room were amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a nice motel for our needs for the night before we board our cruise ship.

Toilets not functional. No soap or shampoo in room. When my toilet clogged, i was handed a plunger 😂

Murphy's Alaskan Inn was a pleasant surprise in the middle of Seward AK. A bit older property, but rooms are nice and clean, and everything works correctly. We had a good stay. Thank you.

It seems they do not own a vacuum and something in the bathroom was always leaking water. Even after asking for our room to be re cleaned it was no better. Great location but a very dirty hotel room. Carpeting and bathroom were disgusting.
