Friendly staff, huge rooms with everything we needed for our family

We really like this place. The Family operated, clean, right on the beach.

When I was a child I went to Wildwood every summer. We never stayed at the Gondelier but it always looked amazing. Fast forward 30 years and the property is still amazing. The women who checked us in was phenomenal. She was able to get our room ready by 9:00am so my exhausted wife could nap from our long drive into Wildwood. The maid service was great too. I rarely tip maids but Maricruz was so good I felt she deserved a big tip. The walk to the boardwalk is 5 minutes and the beach is directly behind the hotel. The most amazing part was our room. The majority of rooms are double beds in Wildwood and being a 270 lb man I need a queen bed. The Gondelier had 2 queens in the deluxe room which fit the 3 of us adults perfectly. The kitchen was great too with everything you need to cook (if you don’t eat out) including real silverware! Excellent nostalgia trip and the Gondelier will forever be a part of that for me.

Property was clean and well kept. Staff was very pleasant.

Pros: walking distance to beach and boardwalk, clean, nice pool, friendly staff. Cons: ice machine not free, tiny parking spots, loud AC units.

Rooms are clean ,bathroom clean. Great stay . Pool was great. There only won thing they don’t explain on here that after the 2nd night your will have to change rooms . But was not a big deal to me. Will stay agian.

Great motel, just needs some more upkeep, especially the lounge chairs on deck. The straps are falling apart which is dangerous and can cause back problems when trying to stand up. They also removed some tables which made it more crowded on the deck since everyone has to pile on top of one another. Our refrigerator wasn’t keeping things as cold as we would’ve liked. ALTHOUGH, the staff were very respectful and responsive and did everything they could with minimal staff available. I’d still recommend this motel and plan on making a trip back next summer!

There were no housekeeping services due to Covid, which was fully understandable, staff was helpful with items needed, but I wasn't happy with the overall cleanliness of the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, but the pillows were good. There was no grid strainer in the bathroom sink and the toilet ran with every flush. I wasn't impressed. If not for the location I wouldn't have even considered staying.

As described, no frills but very clean, nice pool, very close to the beach and near boardwalk, and fit or needs perfectly for family vacation.
