A beautiful treasure in the middle of downtown with a river behind it. The home is gorgeous inside and out. David the owner is awesome and very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was a treat, and the staff was great. Anytime we are in the area we will book with The Ginko Tree as David and his wife Layla created a true atmosphere of "a home away from home"!! Would recommend staying and as well as a venue for events. Many congrats to both of them to the new addition to their beautiful family. Five stars!!

A beautiful treasure in the middle of downtown with a river behind it. The home is gorgeous inside and out. Loved how the building was decorated! Hosts were incredibly kind and personable! The only thing I would recommend would be putting a fan in the room to use at leisure. Our room was a tad hot. We opened the windows and it cooled off throughout the middle of the night, but the street was loud due to college being back in session up until about 12am or so. Overall, the stay was exceptional!

Ginko Tree Inn is a lovely B&B close to downtown Mt. Pleasant. The proprietor, Jean, was excellent -- not only a fantastic chef, but she surprised us with a yummy turndown snack. The hotel is beautifully appointed with period furniture. A great place to stay!

Stayed for 50 class reunion. Right downtown so able to walk the area. Lovely dinners offered and four choices for breakfast. We were on the third floor with a fairly large room with interesting features. Glad we stayed there.
