Very nice motel, only problem was the cleanliness of our room. Not sure the floor had been vacuumed as we found sunflower seeds in several areas and the bathroom floor was dirty and not sure the tile around the shower was cleaned, I found a razor cap in the soap holder

Always a nice play to stay. It’s comfortable, quiet, and the breakfast is the best part of the stay!

The reservation with Hotels.com fast/easy my only request was bottom floor due disability for me and wife as well. Arrived at hotel, got to desk no one was there. A note on paper to dial 0. A tall slender lady appears from back. No greetings, all business. Gabe her my name and ID she looked it up, place sheet of paper, instructs to give color,make n model of vehicle. After all was signed and she gives me key I saw room number and advised her that when I made my reservation I requested a bottom floor. No looking at computer or anything, she tells me she did have any bottom floors and left. When got to room, I went to restroom used toilet but could not flush. I have some knowledge in plumbing, lifted toilet lid, screwed the lever back on and flushed. Service should have noticed when cleaning bathroom or hopefully when cleaning toilet that it did not flush, finally only 1/2 roll toilet paper, and only 1 face cloth. Breakfast good but not enough coffee and people kept asking for it.

The stay was good and they were in the middle of replacing the mattresses. Not a big deal. However there was one old mattress that was left in the lobby the whole time we were there. It was there when we checked in and there when we left. Other then that I would stay there again

Got up this morning and the car was stolen sometime between 11 pm and 9 am have to wait until Tuesday when the general manager is back in office to view the cameras

My mother and I made our reservation last minute as we were traveling across the country toward home and were very pleased with not only the room but the service and breakfast offered. We were very comfortable and even appreciated the walk-in shower as we unknowingly booked a handicapped accessible room (it was the last one with two queens available, and that and reasonable price was my focus when I was booking). We felt like we got a steal for the price we paid and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

With a toilet fully overflowed with feces (POOP). Called front desk
And they brought us a plunger like it was our house and we should clean out somwone else’s mess. Truly disgusting

My stay at the Baymont was as wonderful as it always is when I visit Rapid City South Dakota. The rooms are clean and well kept and services are wonderful.
And I cannot forget to add that breakfast is fantastic! While saying that, my mom, sister & myself would like to especially thank our cook, Chauncey. The 3 mornings we were there, he was was the very most part alone cooking, serving & cleaning up the entire dining area. Also Chauncey was always polite to everyone dining each day. Hard to come by these days.
I can hardly wait to come back to beautiful South Dakota and to stay one more at your hotel ❤️

Initially, I was informed that there would be no additional charge for a later checkout, which I greatly appreciated. However, to my surprise, I discovered that my card was charged for this service after all.
This lack of clear communication is frustrating and left me feeling misled. I expected better transparency from a hotel of your reputation. I hope this feedback helps improve your service for future guests.

The front desk person was nice and appeared competent, she was often away from the front desk and some of her attire was not business appropriate, in my opinion. I was very disappointed with the room. The lampshades had holes and tape was used to hold the batteries in the remote. I did not use the ice machine because the pan under it was filthy with some sort of sediment.
I wish I was able to submit photos. I don’t feel I am a picky person. A remote with a back and in tact lamp shades is not a lot to ask when paying the rate I paid.

Property is old and worn out, tv didn’t work, terrible mattress and even bed sheets smelled. I just don’t know Expedia’s score was that high. Depressing stay.
