Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Lake Tahoe from your private deck and hot tub! This classic Tahoe Cabin is the ideal vacation spot and centrally located within close proximity to many of the west shores most popular spots! Enjoy beautiful lake views from the living room, kitchen, dining room or from one of the three spacious decks. Access to the ever popular Lake Tahoe Park Association Beach is included along with one reserved parking space at our office (1/2 block from the beach).

You’ll love the panoramic lake views from all levels. The cabin faces southeast and affords great morning, mid-day and evening vistas and feels very private with trees on the west side and a California Conservancy lot on the east side. The home features a master loft with a king-sized bed that looks directly over the lake (considered a bedroom). The main level features the lake view from the kitchen, living room, deck and newer hot tub. The lower level provides a covered lake view deck and views from the bonus living area and lake facing bedroom, with the additional back bedroom sleeping an additional three guests. And for those seeking privacy from the main house, there is a studio below with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Enjoy level parking for 3 cars directly in front of the cabin.

The cabin is centrally located in the Talmont neighborhood up above Lake Tahoe and within a short 5 minute drive to some of the best and most iconic west shore destinations: Sunnyside Resort, Firesign Cafe, West Shore Market and Shadyside Lounge. The Lake Tahoe Park Association Beach is also a short 5 minute drive away, with access to this beach association affording you the next best alternative to staying on the lake!

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the simple access to Paige Meadows / hiking trails just a few blocks from the cabin. Or you can catch the bike trail down below and enjoy miles of paved trails along the West Shore or into Tahoe City, down the Truckee River, or all the way out to Palisades. So fun!

Booking guest must be 25 years of age or older.

Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily.

No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.

No smoking of vaping.

No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.

There is parking for 3 vehicles on the driveway pad directly in front of the cabin. Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).

No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).

Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.

Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked) whenever not present in the home.

The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 5 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).

There are a few steps that lead from the driveway down to the front deck / entry door area. We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe snow piled up on the stairs and possible berms in front of the garage (as a result of plow operations). There are shovels onsite that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions.

WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.
