The service is exceptional. The owner and his sons are always available if you need something (and arrange it) and they and their personnel are always smiling. Decent food. Beautiful garden with view on the rice paddies. Nice swimming pool. Location only 10minutes Tuktuk away from the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Perfect base for trips to Sigirya/Pidurangula or Minnerya/Kaudulla National Park. I would definitely stay here again!

The pool is great with a beautiful garden where you can rest, relax, read a book and enjoy it. The property is much better than expected. The big breakfast is AMAZING!!! The owners and staff are so helpful and kind.

The breakfast was a mix of Asian & Western & it was tasty & huge! The brothers running the hotel with their parents are fab - always on hand, spoke good English & couldn't do enough for us. They arranged an elephant tour for us which was great and we hired them to take us to our next destination in their car. Our large family room was basic but clean and a great size with 4 single comfortable beds, air conditioning and our own bathroom. The pool was amazing - very clean, warm & relaxing with lots of sun loungers. The hotel is about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from Polonnawaru but they can arrange a tuk tuk for you & it means a shorter transfer to the elephant national parks and to your next destination. They have a full dinner menu too - we ate with them one of our 2 nights and all enjoyed the food.

Amazing and very helpful and friendly staff!! It was one of us B-day and they offer us cake and candles to celebrate it. Thanks guys. The breakfast was delicious :) The sunset from there is magical.

Very nice and organized place, the room was clean and nice, and the staff was very kind with us. The breakfast in very rich, you can eat a lot of tipical things. The most beautiful thing Is the pool, big and confortable. We liked this hotel very much.

The location is great and the pool is big and clean, we really enjoyed it! We can enjoy some beers and drinks after the visit that was highly appreciated. Also, the food was absolutely delicious. The owners are so nice and here to help! I definitely recommend this place to anyone that want to visit Polonnaruwa!

Very nice territory, tasty food, friendly staff, parking, 10mins by car to Polonaruwa ancient city:) Facilities maybe not branded new but everything is very clean and well-maintained.

Tishan is in a great spot, very peaceful, but just an 8km cycle ride into town. The pool is clean and well-maintained, as are the rooms. The staff are friendly, with good English. Food here is great too, and we are very likely to come back again one day for a third visit!

Even though our stay was rather short, we really enjoyed the time we spent at Tishan Holiday Resort. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a pool and beautiful view over the fields. The location is quiet and a bit on the outskirts of the city, while still being very accessible by tuktuk. I would definitely like to stay there again.
