Location central to where we needed to be. Easy check in, with good communication from host prior to our stay. Nice decor with lovely big t.v in living room area.

Just a note for reference and hasn't hindered us staying again as already booked again for Aug. Needed to wipe down kitchen worktops and fridge with some remnants of stains possible from last guests. We needed to use the sofa bed and couldn't at first locate the extra bedding. Was in the cupboard but not.on shelf, chucked at the back of cupboard on floor on top of the hoover. maybe be best place in the big wardrobe in bedroom for easier location and cleanliness 😁

Windows badly needed cleaning

The key for the front door didn't fit very well, so it was very difficult to open the front door.

Perfect location. Brilliantly big comfy sofa bed, which is also perfect for watching the lovely big tv. Very comfy bed and sofa bed. It has everything you need, tea, coffee etc. Cleaning stuff. Lovely and cozy and clean. It's now our favourite place to stay in Ayr. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and great coffee shops, including places for dog owners. We will be back again soon.

Perfect location for the beach and the pub

Loved the overall layout of the flat and the location it was a five minute walk from the town centre and the same to the beach. It was very stylish and well equipped and the owner was really helpful.

The lock on the front door didn't seem all that secure, although the outside door is always locked.

Perfect location for the town centre and the beautiful beach, especially for taking long dog walks on the beach. My dog's favourite place too. The flat is perfect, very comfortable and the sofa bed was perfect for snuggling up to watch tv after a long day of walking the dog at the beach. Lovely big tv and room size. Lots of our favourite restaurants and cafes in Ayr. Lovely and quiet area. Felt very safe. We will definitely be back!! Thanks!

We loved our stay here. We only wish it could have been longer. Picking up the keys from the shop located nearby was easy. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Nicely decorated and comfortable. Met our needs for the weekend. Instructions given for key pick up and check out were clear and we had no issues with wifi connection. Great base for easy access to ayr to the beach and meals out at night. Wish I knew on day one that the cafe just across from the apartment did breakfast rolls, coffee and ice cream. We learned this for day 2 though. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The apartment next-door has a ring doorbell that I felt would be able to monitor our coming and going. Although I completely understand why they may have it. Having a ring doorbell at home myself I understand what can be captured with it. It did make me feel slightly uncomfortable leaving and entering the apartment given the confined space. Although wouldn’t stop me booking again.

Nice apartment Good location.Issue on arrival in that due to error changeover cleaning had been missed but on emailing owner this was immediately rectified to our satisfaction .Mistakes happen but it’s how they are dealt with that I feel is most important.

Great quiet location near the river mouth. Local shop by main entrance is well stocked and very friendly. It’s comfortable and has everything you’ll need.

The Apartment was lovely and clean . Bed was really comfortable and loved the decor . Not far to walk to main shops and restaurants. The wee shop Ocean Stores next door is great with loads of fresh products. Would book this apartment again and would recommend it to family and friends .

Nothing every thing was good

( Two weeks earlier, I stayed at flat No 5 - same building same owner- 2 bed-room sumptious flat with sea views and small balcony!) Again I paid more for No 7, one-bedroom, compared to others listed - but well worth it. I didn`t consider anywhere else after my previous stay. The accommodation is modern and nicely decorated - a bit like a show-flat. Clean bedding with mattress and pillow protectors. Clean and comfortable seating. Flat was clean. Lovely big walk-in shower. Lift in building. Key collection is from the shop beside the entrance. A great idea as the shop is open until 21.00. (The shop is well stocked and the shopkeeper is a joy to meet. Very friendly and helpful as was his staff. Helped me with directions. He has a good stock of local produce, ready made meals and veg.. Although tea and coffee were provided in the flat - I bought the locally roasted Bulldog coffee - wonderful! Although facing the courtyard - the flat does have views of the beach and harbour. The whole block and surrounding area was very quiet. I felt 100% safe. Five mins (max to beach).

The following are not really "dislikes" but relate to my personal taste. They would NOT stop me using this flat again. The mattress was too soft for me - which is a personal taste. However I did sleep very well and it was clean and presentable. No shaver point in shower room which appears to be very common now in new builds - I now always carry my own plug-in.

loved the flat. so clean and well decorated very close to the beach which was perfect! the beds were all made up and fresh towels were provided we had a lovely valentines weekend!

the flat is two minutes from Ayr beach. The property is in a very quiet stair and feels very safe. there’s plenty of on street parking within walking distance. There is a very good shop almost adjacent to the entry. The centre of Ayr is 10 minutes walking. We loved the cosy flat.

The flat was initially cold as it seemed like it was not lived in prior to our arrival. However, we put the gas boiler on and the flat warmed up , apart from the bathroom radiator. However, the shower warmed up the bathroom.

The whole apartment was amazing! So homely!
