Nice staff

Water was cold at times. Was told because so many people took a shower at the same time. Coffee pot could have been better was poor at giving coffee. Breakfast was ok at best. The parking was good for motorcycles.

it was average hotel breakfast.

the $16.00 a night parking fee was excessive,the sofa bed was useless as a bed ,had to buy an air mattress.

Location was great.

Some breakfast items were only slightly warm.....patio off room was dirty. The shower head was terrible.

Clean

The breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve ever had from a hotel. The pool was heated.

We were charged parking for each night but never notified at checking for this charge. They even gave us a parking pass.

Location, nice staff

The carpet is old and not looking to clean. I wiped up a lot of hair off the shower floor.

Location was excellent. Great access to the beach with a nice out door swimming pool. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Closeness of the beach

Time in the bathroom was moldy. Found pubic hair in the floor. Commode would not stop running. Bathroom fan was hanging by wires. Was told to call down to the front desk for any problems by the only young lady on Sunday checkin that was nice. When we began calling down on Sunday to see if someone could please reclean the bathroom NO one answered the phone. I cleaned up the bathroom and re-sanitized what I could. My granddaughter used the commode and it clogged we waited for over an hour for someone to answer the phone to request them take care of this and my husband had to go down and get a plugger and do it himself. When we would request towels and soap because they don’t offer cleaning during your stay evidently we got eye rolls and signs by some unknown staff member behind a desk who had on blue jeans a capes shirt with no name tag and hair that needed to be combed. This dark haired lady was extremely hateful. On Tuesday when I went down and asked for sugar and more coffee the same hate dark haired lady with no named rolled her eyes and deeply sighed i by this time had had enough. I wrote a different complaint in another sight and was immediately contacted by the capes and was kicked out. Which was fine we were leaving a day early anyway. Some blonde chick with no name tag stringy blonde hair in her face was the worst yet. Instead of them waiting for us to clear out our room the deactivated the cards. Now mind you we work extremely hard for our money and paid out good money to be treated like we were. The blonde no named chick walked me to the room and made a comment that she needed one more look at the room and called us nasty. I do not recommend the capes hotel under any circumstances. The hotel might be dated which is not a problem. But moldy bathroom tile pubic hair in the bathroom floor the commode that doesn’t stop running it clogging up. Oh there was also the bathroom downstairs that clogged up.

I love the location!! The rooms were out dated and the beds weren’t comfortable but the kids love it and loved the pool! And the breakfast was amazing! And I loved how they had water for free at the lobby incase you need it! The heat can be hard on your body!

Will I was not told a head of time that dogs are not allowed on the beach. I was lied to about how much the pet fees are. It took them an hour and a half after check in at 4 before our room was ready and then they said they were going to compensate us for the trouble and never did. This property lies to people and they false advertise like crazy. Not a good property at all

Breakfast and location was good

Cleanliness was the worst I have ever seen. Soiled mattresses with mystery black debri underneath. Talking about pull out couch. Couldn’t use it. Was too scared to see what the main beds looked like. Very disappointed With Marriott residence inn. Too much negative to keep writing……

The property is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good.

Our room was next to the air conditioning units and very loud on and off all through the night which was bothersome. We also did not like that the bathroom did not have an entrance for from the living room so those sleeping in the fold out couch had to enter the bedroom to use in the middle of the night. Other than that it is very nice.

My family and I love absolutely everything about this property. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of and we were happy. housekeeping was amazing. They kept cleaning and making sure everything was sanitize and clean throughout our stay. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful with anything we wanted to know or needed .

The long walk to the beach. The stairs were almost completed and the last day here looked as if they would open that day. Stayed a week.

Everything we came for was a 0!!!!! Pool was so cold it wasn't even usable, No sand, no access to ocean, a total bust!!!!!! Anniversary ruined!!!! came for ocean and pool!!!!! That was a zero!!!!

The location was great. Breakfast was hot and delicious. They had many different options to choose from. The pool area was nice. Oceanfront & close to other places for shopping & restaurants. Beautiful view of the river/city. Elevators were quick & quiet. Check-in/out process was also quick & easy. Staff was good overall with quick response times to our needs.

There wasn’t an oceanfront labeling when I booked the room so I was sad to realize that our King Suite wasn’t oceanfront nor had a balcony. For the money we paid, hours that we traveled, & days that we spent there, the oceanfront/balcony would’ve been great to have. The elevators were also rather small. They also seemed stingy with the linens. I called down for more & I was asked how many guests did I have?! I felt that was super inappropriate because it’s apparent that being beachside, we would probably wash more often throughout the 3 days that we were there. I assume that some people don’t wash at all!

We liked the room and comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing in both quality/quantity. We also liked having a kitchen. The room and property were superb in cleanliness. This is a beautiful hotel!

We missed having access to the pool. It was being worked on.
