The hotel is beautiful for one, its classic exterior and superb location are what initially drew me. But what I quickly learned in staying here is that the staff is exceptional - warm and accommodating beyond what I had expected. Wow. Not only would I stay here again the next time in town but I’ve recommended it to others who I know would love the classic feel, big rooms and great food (Uni!). It’s even dog friendly!

The staff supporting with a smile for any request. All needs were solved smoothly and effective, large clean room with great breakfast, valet parking, kids friendly
The shower room and toilet are not a modern equipment, the rest is fine and maintaining the atmosphere of old but classic high level hotel

We enjoyed staying at a very traditional "English Style" hotel. Exceptionally located as it is facing the beautiful Commonwealth Ave and it is just half a block from Newbury St. with all its shops and restaurants.

The hotel was very lovely and very clean and in an amazing location.. The staff were all super helpful and friendly and were very helpful in booking our hop on hop off bus tickets for us. Would recommend. The breakfast was very nice too.

Comfy cozy clean and pretty room, wonderful bed, friendly staff, fast room service from Uni and food was incredibly good
Tiny bathroom, no bathroom fan, curtains didn't close all the way, blue light in mini fridge lit up the room, not as walkable an area as I thought it would be at night, carpet was stained in several places

The location was perfect since we were there for concerts at Fenway Park. Close to restaurants and shopping.
The plug when you first walked into the room was very old and every time something was plugged in it fell out. The plug in the bathroom sparked when using it. The room definitely needs an electrical update.

Delightful and helpful reception and cleaning staff and Jean and Mohammed on the door were lovely.
Breakfast was a shambles. There was no coffee in the drinks dispenser, no plates, no cutlery and just a 4 slot, very slow toaster for the entire breakfast buffet. Of the staff only Rochelle seemed to be working with the two guys just wondering around not appearing to do anything to help her or the guests.

Great location within easy walk for restaurants and a 20 minute walk of the city centre a. The room was spacious with a super-comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions. Very happy, we'd definitely stay here again.

I liked everything about this hotel except its location given road construction virtually at its front door
Because of construction it was impossible to get to the front door of this hotel with a car. I drove to Boston and parked my car in the hotel. When I needed the car it could take up to an hour to retrieve it. I understand the construction is not the hotel's fault, but not advising us in advance is its fault

I was lucky to get an upgrade to a suit on the top floor. Fantastic location, 1 min walk to the T station, and just minutes walk to Newbury St (Sops, Coffee shops and Restaurants). 5-minute walk to the Esplanad (Charles River), and 20 min walk to MIT/Kendall across the river to Cambridge

The Hotel didn't respect the amount to be paid, that was established by Booking.com
Spoke to the Manager, said it would respect it but charge on my credit card was 420 above what was I supposed to pay according to Booking. Claiming now with American Express those charges, but also letting you know the misconduct of the Hotel.
