You can see that there is some effort being made to renew the old complex, new curtains, nice new looking bed linen and towels, iron /microwave, coffee makers etc. Very nice extra of water and breakfast bar.

Very thin walls, carpets and furniture need an update - even white washing the existing furniture would be great!

Clean and comfortable. Good location. Pet friendly.

No grass area for dogs, but there is something on the side street nearby (with a bunch of stickers though). The walls are SUPER thin. We had a very loud family above us (could hear every step they took, and their kids were jumping off the walls until almost 11pm), and our neighbor next door had their TV super loud. Difficult to sleep for that reason.

This was a really nice little motel, conveniently situated very close to a high quality large outdoor shopping mall. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well provisioned with bottled water and snack bars, a coffee machine with tea and coffee. Also a fridge. Everything we needed for a short stay in Monterey. Very highly recommended.

The room was very clean , the restroom very clean . We had clean towels every day , staff at the front desk is very nice and welcoming.

The only thing I didn’t like was the carpet, it was a little dirty.

It was very old but was clean and the shower was good.

It was a lovely place, and the staff allowed us to leave our car parked there well past check-out whilst we went whale watching. Our room also had a built in automatic fireplace (flick the switch and instant log fire).

It was a little way out of the centre of Monterey - was about a 30min walk to the main part of town.

The pipes are extremely loud to the point I couldn't sleep . I kept waking up. If it wasn't for this I would've gave 10 stars. Everything else wonderful.

cant beat the price-and wow pretty room was pretty clean less than 2 miles from ocean-very quiet front desk was responsive to our needs-housekeeping did wonderful job cleaning our room for the price i was very surprise-to all yes 8 rating is legit-you wont be disappointed and with money you save you go have nice staek dinner :)

bed was alright but good only problem/issues i had was the wall heater-low buzzing sound as it was warming up to a louder one once up to temp waking me up all the time-needless to say didnt sleep well at all-room next to us same issues-heater very loud and annoying minus the heater-stay was GREAT!!!
