The hotel was clean, staff very friendly and helpful, especially the manager ( he was very professional.

When we checked in the lobby and halls stunk! The room as well. I had to buy febreze and microban the next day to disinfect and make the room smell good! Also carpet throughout very old needs to be cleaned or replaced!

The hotel had a nice breakfast for the price. Hot food and grab and go food.

Using booking.com, I was charged through Best Western twice. The staff stated it would be done once. I don't understand why they didn't see this. The room had stains all over and an odor of mold.

The hotel is old and needs an upgrade. The room was big, but it echoed, and we could hear everything from the hallway. There was also a huge red stain on the carpet

General manager was a dick. We called at 10 am and spoke with him to see if we could check in early and he said the earliest he could do was 1:00, we arrived at 1:45 and there wasn’t a room available. The only thing he said was “well I don’t know why someone would have told you that because we’re entirely booked and the rooms aren’t ready until 3:00 as stated on your confirmation. If I have a clean double bed room, I could give you that, but they’re all booked so you’ll just have to wait until your room is ready.” He didn’t apologize for lying to us, nor did he attempt to see if there were any rooms that were ready (keeping in mind it’s only 1.25 hours until all of the rooms are supposed to be ready for check in). The rooms weren’t very clean when we got in, the beds weren’t very comfortable, and the cleaning people changed the thermostat when we left so every day when we got back the room was hot. It was in an unsafe part of Tampa as well. 0/10. I will never stay here again.
