Great location. Quiet but not far from the busier part of the boardwalk

It was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I wish it had a restaurant on site. I also wish there were more umbrella seatings around the pool.

The staff was excellent! The pool area was well kept. The outdoor pool tiki bar and grill was wonderful along with the cleanliness of the grounds. Great place to go!!

Weather was rough the first day. This was beyond the hotel's control.

The suite was so nice, very roomy. Excellent view of the ocean and pool. Loved the location on the quiet end of the boardwalk.

Cafe was very pricey and not many selections. We were there in the middle of the week and did not get to enjoy the breakfast buffet.

Everything it was first class the property had just been remodeled and they did a great job! It is right off the beach, walking and bike lanes.

I was unaware he was under construction. It was very inconvenient not to be able to wash my clothes for a week. Also unable to use a gym for a week, and there was so much construction going on, Trash was everywhere in the parking lot inside the hotel.

I was expecting cash back from Rakuten but I was told from booking.com I can’t get cash back for my 2 reservations. I received for the first stay on the 18th but have not received for the 25th. These were 2 different reservations and there was nothing said about only getting cash back for 1 reservation. Very disappointed. The reason I went thru booking.com was because of the cash back

Everything was nice

I have stayed here before and love it, that is why I came back. I was also surprised to be GUEST of the day and my regular room was upgraded at no charge to a suite. It was very nice.

Second day, the pool was opened because weather got better, but kept closing and opening. Gates were locked and people had to ask for a key to get out. We never knew when we could get in. The main reason we came. And we were NOT expecting to pay to park in the parking lot and the fee was high. One of the guest services staff members never looked up any time we walked in, never greeted us. Didn’t have a friendly feel. No hot water. Had to put our clothes on to notify the desk because there was no answer when we called the desk. They finally resolved it.

I didn’t like that you have to pay for parking, the outdoor pool closed too early, indoor pool had things floating in it, you have to pay for breakfast and it was not good at all.

Beautiful location. Close to clean beach, great food and fun shopping.

We wish that the kitchenette provided paper towels, plastic utensils and paper plates(or equally utilized green products). A quick trip to the corner market solved that issue.

Needed to be cleaner. Dirt/dust build up in bedroom corners. A previous guest hair was left on the bathroom sink. Mold on ice machine on the 2nd floor. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Linens need an upgrade. AC unit had weird smell and struggled to keep the room cool throughout the day. Would of requested a new room but was traveling with my 4 month old and 2 year old so did want to have to lug EVERYTHING to another mediocre room….. oh and breakfast buffet is extremely overpriced for the quality of food.

The property was very DIRTY. The pools,carpets,elevators were so dirty.

We liked the fact that our room was oceanfront with a balcony. The rooms were also very large and clean. The kids also loved the pools.

In our opinion it was a little overpriced. It was a holiday weekend but we stayed from a Sunday night and checked out Monday. And breakfast was not included.

Great location on VA Beach.

We paid over $500/night for Labor Day weekend. Its crazy. I really thought this would be a nicer facility for being a Marriott and charging that price. It felt a little worn. Not what I’d expect of a Marriott. Staff should be mopping up wet floors and sand constantly. Cleaning service in room only every other day -say what?!?! Mini fridge in room but no freezer section. No safe in room! Sheets were either dirty or stained, so we had those changed immediately. Bathroom tiles mildewed and tub is old. The 10th floor hallway smelled awful like a mildewed smell. The pools were nice, but the outdoor pool water is freezing - kids wouldn’t go in and that’s the main reason I chose this hotel. I’d pay $200-225 a night for this room, definitely not worth the $500 we paid. We made the most of it. Staff was nice.
