It was clean and kept up, new carpet was installed recently in the hallways and rooms. King Bed was comfortable and pillows were nice and firm, my head didn’t sink into them like most other hotels (which I don’t like). Nice water pressure in shower, got my hair nice and clean. Towels clean and fresh. A/C unit took a sec to work but was perfect afterwards. No bugs at all, that’s a big plus right there! Couch was clean and table and chair were good

Furniture was old and drawers wouldn’t stay closed, toilet handle chain was too long and kept getting in the way of the flapper, had to remove tank cover every time I flushed. Bathroom light was too dim. And oh let me tell you about the breakfast. No waffle maker or good selection. Cereal, toast, and what they call omelettes are simple frozen ones from supermarket and ice cold in the heater/steamer. And if I needed staff, (which was a large Indian family from India) they were nice but only if they came when I rang the bell for assistance in a timely manner, I could hear people in the other room adjacent to the front counter but they wouldn’t come every time. Vending soda machine non operational but has power on, swallows your dollars but no soda comes out. TV in room worked great but no local channels at all. Just your usual USA, TNN, one Sports channel, HBO didn’t work (like ALL other hotels do). And last but not least, no phone charging outlets, thankfully I brought my own

Had to give a $100.00 cash deposit before we were given a room. I would have left then, but they already had my credit card paid for room. Furnishings were terribly outdated. Toilet leaked. Towel rack fell off the wall when I hung a towel on it. hairdryer did not work. Internet did not work. sheets were stained and threadbare. Bedspread had burn holes in it.

I got charged twice

The location was great, the outward appearance was clean, the inside was clean and quiet.

Upon arriving to check in on my reservation I was ready to pay with credit card and they told me that even paying with credit card there would be a 150.00 cash deposit for incidentals which would make what originally started out as a 89.00 plus 20.00 pet fee night into an over 259.00 a night stay. But their sign on their desk said that if renting a jacuzzi room there was a 100.00 cash deposit which I wasn't renting the jacuzzi room, and it said if paying with cash there was a 100.00 cash deposit, and it went on to say that if paying with credit card there was no deposit and that prepaid cards were not accepted. I wasn't using a prepaid debit card either. They were totally trying to rip me off and take advantage and try to make me pay extra money. Then when I pointed out what the sign said the lady behind the desk said that sign was wrong thar everybody had to pay the 150.00 cash deposit upon check in. It doesn't say anything about that on Google nor does it say that on any travel booking apps or sites. I was so upset and felt so taken advantage of and felt like they were just trying to manipulate more and more money out of me that I ultimately said to cancel my reservation and I walked out. With no intentions of ever going back even if they tried to pay me to stay there I wouldn't. Worst customer service ever. They are manipulators and con artists and just trying to steal as much money as they think they can from everybody because like I said they think that they can because if you need a room bad enough they don't think you'll question it and just go ahead and pay what they say to pay. I'm almost sure that the extra money they are charging people isn't going in the cash register rather it's lining their pockets nicely.

No key entry. I had to either leave my room open or ask the front desk to let me into my room

They are supposed to cancel the registration. The hotel had no keys for the rooms and they would have to open the door every time we left. They said for us to go to the super 8 because yhey had keys to the rooms and they would contact booking and cancel the reservation.

No hot water. I let the water run for several minutes but it never got hot. Cold water coming from the H & the C. ☹️
