Location was great. Staff was friendly. Rooms were just as described and the text from staff checking if we needed anything was a nice touch.

In our opinion. it was a little on the expensive considering the time of year was not yet summer and the location is an extended way from the beach.

The check-in/out process was easy. The front desk staff (Brian & Pamela) were both friendly and professional. The room was clean, and they honored my request to be placed on a certain floor. The hot breakfast was decent. The make your own waffle bar was a hit for the family. Facilities were clean, and you could see staff cleaning throughout the day. I read a review that the barn doors over the room bathroom served dual purposes as the closet door. It was a strange setup but not anything that would deter my stay. I was the only family member who even noticed. The location is perfect since the hotel is only 10 min from the beach. This is a family-friendly hotel. We would stay again and would recommend it to others.

Bed was fine. Window coverings did great job rducing outside light. Breakfast was good.

Hot water non existent. Door to bathroom difficult to open from inside especially if you have arthritis, a senior but of concern, the indented door grip. Cannot get fingers inside slot and if you have long fingernails, prepare to lose one. Young children attempting to exit from inside, could easily get their fingers crushed. The "grip bar" inside the tube should not be attached to the wall but near the faucet side to support exiting the tub. Is this ADA compliant? One bar of soap???to use between sink and shower. One chair at desk but no second chair to watch TV. Clock was one half hour behind time (little details).

THE MATTRESS PAD IS TOO SMALL! I don’t understand why proper size pad is not used when new mattresses are purchased. it slides off and we wind up laying directly on the mattress. it is so unsanitary that I couldn’t go back to sleep, completely ruining an otherwise great stay. This is not the first time it has happened while staying at a Hampton.

It was horrible. There was a major water main break which I understand things happen. The receptionists sent me to a hotel in Lewes which you apparently are affiliated with ( sorry, can’t remember the name but I think the word “one” is in the name. The receptionist there had no idea what I was talking about and said nothing could be done. She was very rude. All in all it was a terrible experience and it reflects badly on you
