The location was great except for the train which was about 10 feet from our room. Oh yes, it blows the whistle EVERY time...6 am til later at night.
The place feels like a jail with all concrete block walls and it's a mess, stuff falling apart every where. Many outlets had tape over them or didn't work. Both the bed and sofa bed were not comfortable. The bedroom had no A/C. Also, it was super overpriced. NEVER AGAIN!!!

How close it was to the beach and other activities
The staff was not helpful and rude, place smelled and it was not stated when we booked that a $200 hold would be placed on a credit card. Good thing I have one as normally I do not carry a card. When we checked in could hear staff talking no one came out. Had to ring bell and then someone yelled from outback that we needed to wait.
Upon checking out, rang bell 3x in exactly 9.5 mins before someone came out and then they grabbed card and said, you can leave now.

New pool, was super great to get a break from the crowded beach! Staff were super helpful and nice and even got us into our room hours before we expected!
The property was totally fine, zero issues with that. There was however, a lot of loud drunk folks passing by late at night but that’s to be expected this close to the boardwalk. If that kind of thing bothers you, maybe find a spot further down away from all the action. We were fine with the noise, just something to share.

There was nothing to like about the room….definitely not worth the price….old run down and my first impression was that it looked abandoned from the outside.

It reminded me of when I came as a teen 20 years ago! Excited to see it pretty much the same (in a good way) kitchenette is very convenient to keep lunch meats and drinks so you don't go broke buying food all day

The rooms itself was nice
The fact that I booked at this hotel and when I got there I was told that my room was at an “off site location“ that was further down the street. The whole reason I booked here was for the location. My husband was in a lot of pain from having to walk so far to the beach. To use the pool we had to walk to the main resort. The bathroom sink didn’t have hot water and the internet at the off site location hardly worked.

Loves the location and extras in the room like stovetop, microwave, large refrigerator, keurig coffeemaker and kitchen table and chairs! Sink was plugged up and didn't drain well but that is the only thing and not a big deal! 5 min walk to beach and SO many shops and restaurants and amusement park on the beach. Comfy clean beds, AC. worked great! Friendly staff. Nice pool. Well worth the $$!

The best thing about this place is the location. It's right around the corner from the famous pier, many restaurants, arcade and most importantly for families the amusement park. We liked that the building was all cement because didn't have to worry about noise at all. We saw many reviews about the train noise but we barely heard it. The staff was also amazing and very helpful. We were very happy and will definitely be back next year.
The only complaint is that it needs a little bit of renovation but even then it wasn't anything significant enough to hinder our stay in any way.

Walking distance to anywhere needed in Old Orchard Beach.

There is a train track right outside the rooms that travels throughout the night. Very noisy.

It was a nice apartment and close to everything
The only thing i did not like was that the one bedroom did not have an AC meaning that you had to leave you room door open so the cool of the AC in the living room would go in the room. the other thing was that the door in one of the rooms you could not close it. due to when they installed it they did not do it correctly.

The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. Location is awesome. Close to everything.

The motel was very close to the center of OOB. The family suites were spacious.
The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was flat and you could feel every spring. At 5’6, I had to crouch down to wash my hair because the shower head placement is so low. The worst part was that the pool was closed. I guess I guess I shouldn’t have made the assumption that the pool would be opening Memorial Day weekend as most pools in the area do. I would not stay again.

The rooms are big, with plenty of space. Kitchenette area was good if you are staying for longer, we only stopped for 2 nights. The Motel is a little dated but clean. Fantastic location in the heart of Old Orchard.
Bathroom could have done with a little TLC, but it was clean. Rooms feel a little dated but functional, all round a pleasant stop and I would stop again if I was in the area.
