Bluebird is such a cute place. It’s right in the center of so much. Walking distance from it all. The rooms are so spacious we were able to keep our 2 bikes and scooter inside our room. The staff is amazing. They have a fire pit in the front which my kids loved. We sat there at nights and made s’more’s. I do recommend to bring some forks for them. They sold out at all the convenient stores.
We will definitely be staying here again.

Mooie, rustige en goed bereikbare locatie in Cambria.
Hotelkamer was simpel maar netjes en schoon.
Stijl van het hotel was sfeervol. Geen ontbijt maar ontbijtzaakje direct naast hotel was meer dan perfect!
Geen nadelen ondervonden. Prima hotel voor een overnachting in Cambria.

The inn is in town so we were able to walk to the shops and restaurants. We didn’t take advantage of any breakfast because they didn’t open until 8. On checkout, we noticed a variety of granola bars and coffee available.

Great location. Plenty of free parking. Nice basis room with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Nice table with 2 chairs. Bed was extremely comfortable. Nice big shower with plenty of hot water. Plenty of nice fluffy towels, hand towels and washcloths.
Only downside was noise from adjoining rooms.

The first thing expected of any small inn such as this, is its hospitality, which is unfortunately lacking here. In the 3 interactions we had the front desk lady, we felt as though we were intruding into her routine. Not to mention the 4 pm check in on top of all this.

Room, bath and shower large size. Beds very comfy. Location in town good. Overall clean and comfy for a day or two. Morning coffee good.
Not many amenities - soap, shampoo, conditioner were attached to the wall which was odd - but at least provided. Overall an old, dated facility but clean and reasonably priced.

The room was comfortable and nicely sized. We appreciated the hooks for hanging bags along the wall. We thought the road noise might be a problem, but it wasn't. Even though the motel was full, we weren't disturbed by any noise from other guests. Easy walk into town for dining, and perfect location for visiting Hearst Castle.
The front desk attendant had no idea what I was asking about when I inquired about the walking path entrance to the Santa Rosa Creek trail to the Fiscalini Preserve, and it was literally right next door to the motel. We discovered a frog in our ice bucket, it must have been hanging out on the machine when we got ice the night before! We relocated the little critter back to the yard.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, quiet surroundings. We had bought a bottle of wine but had no corkscrew. I went to the lobby and ask if she could help me open the bottle. Between the 2 of us we couldn’t open it, so she called her boyfriend, he came right over and helped us. Very nice people. I would definitely stay again.
We had a downstairs room. You could hear the people walking around upstairs.

We have a history at the Blue Bir and it was what it always is...very nice... We were ground floor...north side door the front...our neighbors were a little noisy but not obnoxious and it was NOT the staff's fault.
Personal preference...I like a stronger air conditioner...but, hey, that's me. ;)

Would have preferred two single story rooms or rooms on the 1st floor as the lower rooms suffer from noise from above. Nothing unique to the inn & didn’t think to ask ! Long time since I’ve stayed in one 😊
