This property was experiencing a water main break, so the hotel had to close. But the excellent rating is for the manger, Clerance. He helped us find another Hilton hotel within a quarter mile that was able to accommodate us.

The breakfast was exceptional. Enjoyed it daily. The hotel was clean. The pool was nice. The room was quiet even being close to the elevators.

We booked a double queen room for 3 people, myself, my son, and my grandaughter. When we arrived the only room available was a King with a lounge chair. They told me since we booked on Booking.com and not with Hampton directly that guaranteed us a room, but not the bed request. My grandchild age 14 slept on the chair. They said other guests had requested longer stays and that was why our room was not available. They said it was an event weekend in Louisville and they were at 100% capacity. They did offer to find me another hotel, but the ones close that I had checked before booking had only King rooms available. They did give me a discount but I was not happy because it still cost me $555. for 3 nights and my grandchild slept on a chair!!!!! The night or day managers were not sympathetic to us not having our requested room. They said it often happens. I have used booking.com for years and this has never happened anywhere I have ever stayed. They also have no cots. When another guest wants to extend their stay, they should have been advised they would have to change rooms, as ours was guaranteed with a credit card.

Toilet did not flush properly. When it was reported, staff handed a plunger to my husband! Telephone in the room did not work.
