very nice and clean hotel. The staff is super friendly and both breakfast and diner are amazing. Had the best time here and can recommend this hotel to everyone!

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like

Angelo Engel hotel is absolutely amazing. From the comfort of the rooms to the excellent pool (indoor and outdoor), from the variety of options both in breakfast and dinner and also the quality of the food to the very professional and warm staff, everything was excellent. If you are thinking about staying in this hotel, do not think twice and book it!

1) The HOTEL is beautiful. Very clean, beautiful garden and pools. We were stunned at how lovely the place was, better than pics. Lots of seating in the garden/outdoor bar/pool loungers. Perfect for a warm sunny day. Their spa and heated pool, looked great though we didn't use any. 2) STAFF was very good. Specifically Fabiano/Fabrizio, I suck at names :(, the young man we met every day at the restaurant, and another young lady (again my brain doesn't rem her name), were so charming. Ricardo at reception and the lady we met at check out were both good too. There was one older blonde-haired lady in the restaurant who was a bit rude once but whatever. The young staff was so good. 3) RESTAURANT - Classy place where people dress up a bit for dinner. We didn't. The breakfast was great, with good variety but no eggs made to order or fresh toast (they didn't have a toaster which was a first for me). They do have the packaged rusk/toast thing so I guess it's a cultural thing. A nice variety of bread and scrambled eggs made it up for me. Good fruit too. The dinners were fantastic. They have a set menu with some options. We ate there all 3 nights and loved it. Service again faultless. Do try some of the Sudtirolean wine they have. 4) ROOM - we had the base room and it was a bit cramped and the bath was tight too. It had a lovely balcony towards the back of the hotel, still had a great view of the mountains. I guess go for the next level room if you like a bit of room and it's in your budget. Since we were going to spend most of our day hiking we didn't mind it. Did feel a bit cramped when we got back in the evenings. Overall, it's a beautiful place with excellent service. You will enjoy your stay here as we did. P.S. LOVED the homemade apricot jam they gifted us at checkout! P.P.S. They have free parking.

1) No Toaster. Who doesn't like hot toast with butter? Please get one. 2) Size of basic room. Some more space would make me feel better about spending 470 Euros per night.

Staff were lovely, very helpful, nothing too much trouble. The hotel had a gorgeous ambience & stylishly decorated. Afternoon tea and the formal dinner were excellent. We particularly liked the Spa area with the warm outside pool and unique sauna wooden hut outside. Best Spa in a hotel been at, very relaxing after a day on the ski slopes. Luxury perk was a free shuttle bus to both ski lifts, if didn’t feel inclined to walk to them.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Angelo Engel. We especially enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool, sauna and warming room. Also, the convenience of the location would be hard to beat. We walked to all restaurants and to the base of the tram that took us up to a glorious hike across the mountain top plateau which was recommended by Andrea. He also had other wonderful recommendations and was a pleasure to talk with. The rooms and the breakfasts also exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

Following a historical family legacy, the Hotel keeps top notch standards. The room was ample, clean, with a great view and a marvelous terrace. All the sauna and pool gear was provided. The bed was huge and super comfortable. The sauna and wellness area was very comfortable and the heated pool provided in-and-outdoors swim with a hydromassage. The rest area was very comfortable too. We had a great impression out of this structure, a great stay for sure!

At the price offered, the dinner could have been included, but it didn't change the overall great impression. At the indoor sauna the bench towels were not available (they've been immediately provided at request, though).

The food was on another level. Wow! Amazing staff, fantastic location. Very clean, very well kept.

The minibar in the room was not stocked although there was a price list.

Beautiful hotel, warm staff, fantastic spa facilities, great breakfast and walking distance to the main street.

Very nice hotel, very close to the centre, lovely pool, very good food. Book half board, you won’t regret it. Nice lounge with late afternoon snack buffet.

Wellness/sauna area rather small
