Really nice, clean and big rooms. The staff is really nice and breakfast is great. Huge and clean pool and only 10 min to walk to the beach. The owner was super helpful and even organized airport shuttle. 100% recommend this place.

absolute delight

Our family is very satisfied with our stay at Villa Dineha. Hotel is perfectly located (few minutes walk from main beaches, restaurants, main street), very clean and the staff is absolutely gorgeous. Janaka and his team is doing a great job by assisting in every matter - no matter You need to get tuk tuk to the nearby restaurant or to plan a few days trip inside Sri Lanka. Janaka will organize everything for a fair price which will be lower than taking the same service from the travel agencies or guides. Swimming pool and all the territory is well kept and clean. Absolute bonus is a hot water and electricity without interruptions (huge generator takes care of proper work during interruption hours). Our kids also enjoyed monkeys coming to the garden during morning hours (they were allowed to feed them!). While we loved the silence and birds singing early in the mornings. For sure - we have made the right choice and will come back to Villa Dineha soon.

The host, Janaka, is wonderful person and all staff! Great service, all questions could be solved easily, good transfers from airport and to other locations! Very nice place, comfortable beds, good AC, lots of plug sockets, only 5 mins walk from the beach and restaurants Janaka is the best host ever, he went out of his way to make sure everything went well. He helped organise our taxis and even helped us arrange a taxi to deliver our things in another city to us after we accidentally left them. This is the best place we stayed during our entire trip

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our stay in Villa Dineha from one week to three months. The room was clean and comfortable, kitchen well-equipped and as there are routers on each floor, the WiFi worked exceptionally well. The location is excellent, as it's close to the beach and the centre, but at the same time rather quiet. Special thanks to the host who is very welcoming and happy to assist with anything.

Perfect location and great facilities. The garden is beautiful and the owner gave my children some food to feed the monkeys. The pool is a perfect addition and the room a great size and very clean. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Would love to return one day.

One of the things that makes your holiday an experience to remember is the first interaction you have with the local people and that happens to be at the hotel/ home stays where you check in. Villa Dineha surely knows how to make you feel at home. It was a wonderful stay. Janaka and his team are simply superb in their hospitality and it’s genuine. Room size, breakfast, tips on how to get around. Arranging diving experiences / airport pick ups. It was all handled very well. Am definitely coming back and I recommend this place hands down for enjoying your time in hikkaduwa.
