Nette Anlage aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen!
Anlage ist renovierungsbedürftig!
Fensterfronten der Beachbungalows werden nicht geputzt. Hier zieht man die Gardinen vor.
Holzböden in der kompletten Anlage defekt (Verletzungsgefahr). Schmutziges Geschirr bleibt tagelang vor den Bungalows stehen. Servicepersonal räumt es nicht weg. Erst nachdem wir uns beschwert haben, wurde es einen Tag später entsorgt. Bestuhlung im Frühstücksraum: Defekt, fleckig und sollte dringend ausgetauscht werden.
Generelles Problem in der Anlage und im Bungalow: Mücken, Kakerlaken etc. durch das viele Poolwasser. In anderen Hotelanlagen in Khao Lak wird dagegen gearbeitet
Frühstück: Okay, aber nicht überdurchschnittlich.
Poolliegen: zu wenig und ab 7.00 ist schon alles belegt.
Eingangsbereich: eher, wie ein Hintereingang.
Restaurant: hochpreisig im Vergleich zu anderen *****Sterne Hotels im Ort. Qualität des Essens - durchschnittlich, bis mäßig.
Meerblick: durch dichten Bewuchs nicht möglich - schade, wäre durch Ausdünnen der Sträucher möglich.
Fazit: Preis/Leistung ist nicht gerechtfertigt.

The pool area is stunning and easy access to the beach. Food was only ok at breakfast.
Nothing much, it's a little isolated but free bus service to town and bike and moped hire available.

Very nice beachfront hotel with a superb pool. There is a huge variety of delicious breakfast options. We enjoyed the scooter rides and complimentary yoga.

Nice location next to the beach. Quite area. A few restaurants close, if you want to try something other than the hotel restaurant.

Staff could be more attentive to cleaning up used glasses and plates by the pool.
We often had to wait at the pool bar because there were not enough staff.
They don’t keep clean pool towels at the pool. So you have to go to the reception to get new, which is weird.
They do buffet evenings at the restaurant, but it’s overly expensive and not recommend. Eg the ice cream stand only had 3 different weird flavors (some kind of tee). Wy don’t you do chocolate and vanilla that everyone likes?

The hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday on the beautiful Khao Lak beach, short taxi ride into the nearby Khao Lak and Ban Niang towns and some very good traditional Thai restaurants nearby within walking distance. Hotel staff were fantastic, always very friendly and keen to help. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
the swimming pool needed some attention in places, some small tiles missing etc, but this didn’t really detract from the overall enjoyment.

Some travelers may not like that this is quite remote location, it’s at least 2.5km walk from town, but you can taxi or scooter easily. reccomend you hire a scooter if staying for several days.

Public access to and supersize of pool was a true gift and a treat.
Private direct access to pool was excellent and the best selling point of the bedroom

swim up bar, private beach and use of complimentary kayaks, bedroom was large and comfortable. breakfast was good.
access to our room was via staff only/back of house or a 5-10 min walk around the property.
bar service was slow, there was an issue at the end of our stay where the wrong bill tab had been allocated - all sorted in the end but a bit inconvenient.
Would have been good to have been a bit closer to khao lak town/ for there to be more shuttle buses (these were available but extremely limited timings)

The pool is awesome. And the beach.
Great food, especially breakfast. Dinner, too! Cocktails were awesome, especially during happy hour at the pool bar.
The gym is great, with a lovely view. Massage was good, but not cheap.
The batik t-shirt activity was surprisingly enjoyable, like colouring in, very relaxing with a nice t-shirt at the end.
Reception and concierge staff were excellent. Cleaning staff were excellent. Food and beverage staff were hit and miss, some were very good, but too often we waited a loooong time to order, or to get drinks. I suggest always ordering again as soon as they bring something! Room service was excellent, though, fast and good.
Andaman restaurant just 5 minutes walk on the road outside is much better service and cheaper, but The Haven food is slightly better.
Did I mention the pool?!
Overall, it is a very enjoyable, good value, relaxing place. Lives up to its name!

Beautiful hotel. Great location right by the beach with the most stunning sunsets. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Its a mini paradise. Def recommend.

It was a very pleasant stay, the breakfast buffet is great and versatile. The hotel is located right on the beach, which is clean, big and not crowded at all. Nearby there’s a restaurant with great food and affordable prices. The pool is great, they also have ping pong, billiards, bikes for rent (free) and a gym, so you definitely won’t get bored.

Amazing, relaxing holiday. Calm, good spa and food. Free bike rent to drive around was a nice added bonus
When the coridor ceiling partially collapsed behind our door and we called reception for it to come and check, a simple “sorry for inconvenience and are you okay” check up would have been nice. Especially as we entered our room 10minutes before it happened. But it was quickly cleaned up and next day replaced
