This is a beautiful property in an excellent location, close by to loads of great resturants and bars and right on the river. We were able to walk from the Pisa Central train station to here on our arrival and then also walk to the leaning tower that evening and then back to the leaning tower and to the Pisa S. Rossore train station for our departure (not a short walk, but do-able!). Our host was very helpful in terms of communication prior to our stay and once we got there. Worth being aware that this place does not have a reception desk etc. but instead the host will arrange to meet you on site to check you in which may be a challenge if you don't have a local SIM / mobile internet access or don't know exactly when you will be arriving. Our host was incredibly welcoming and helpful and gave us information about the local area, showed us the leaning tower out the window of the lounge room, and pointed out the complimentary bottles of water in the main room fridge. The property has been beautifully renovated and is modern, clean and with great facilities. We would definitely stay here again.

Anna was very welcoming and helpful once we arrived at Mediceo42. Our room was great - comfy bed, amazing view from the fifth floor (there is a lift) and really stylishly decorated. It provides a great base in terms of its location. We picked it as we wanted to be relatively close to Pisa Centrale (15 min walk) but be able to reach the main sights (10 min walk). There's tons of great bars and restaurants nearby but a list of restaurants that they recommend is also provided. There was a nice touch of free refrigerated water bottles in the main lobby. Overall a great stay, would highly recommend.

Very central location along the river. About 10 minutes from the railway station. On 5th floor but there is a lift. The staff were very welcoming and informative. There are 3 private bedrooms with ensuite and a shared living area. Plenty of bottles of water chilled in the fridge which are complimentary. Lovely spacious bedrooms and bathroom was lovely. Beds very comfortable with memory foam matress.

Absolutely perfect, the room was spotless. Clean and comfortable and like new. Had a great nights sleep. The owner was so friendly and helpful, we couldn't have asked for more. He gave some great recommendations for places to eat in town also. Absolute superster. We were only there for 1 night as passing through however would highly recommend.

Great room exactly like in the photos, with a beautiful view! Also very well located. Perfect for a couple. Would stay there again and would definitely recommend.

The communication before we arrived to the property was confusing. They asked for a lot of details and specific time of arrival which was difficult to provide given that we were traveling without a car.

This place is super close to everything you need in Pisa and the host is excellent.

Very good space modern room with lots of storage space, great TV size with lots of options to watch, and everything is a 15 min walk away!

Maybe having your own fridge in the room rather than sharing one with other guests in the kitchen would be better?

Great location, you can walk everywhere within the reach of 10-15 minutes. Staff was very friendly and took their time to recommend places and explain how everything works. Room was very pretty and clean, bathroom too! I also always appreciate when they give good suggestions to eat! They also offer private parking with valet service, which is a huge plus in a car free zone like Pisa.

It was all good! Nice and clean room, easy check in and close to everything. Communication woth host was good.

Exceptionally clean Very Good Communication with Roberto and his father Vito who collected us from the airport as it was a nighttime flight and we were anxious to be able to dine at a nearby restaurant that night so he saved us so much time We we’re travelling on to friends house the next day and they were collecting us back at the airport and Vito came for us again He gave us a guided tour on the journeys too We will definitely be back as we loved Pisa and found it so compact and we will definitely stay here and recommend to all our friends and family
