Ken and Cathy have gone out of their way to make their guest comfortable. They have thought of everything and it was lovely to go somewhere where everything was provided for you. The bed was comfortable with an electric blanket and plenty of heaters as well A ++

Hubby wanted a tv in the bedroom lol but that takes absolutely nothing away from this property.

The house is is lovely and wonderfully decorated with many thoughtful features included. The view from the well appointed veranda is beautiful, it was a pleasure to sit out there and enjoy the sunset. (Friendly suggestion...the addition of some hooks on the backs of the doors would be great).

The driveway is narrow and steep, making the initial arrival at the property somewhat daunting. Access in and out of the shower could be improved with some safety hand rails.

The doors didn’t open and closed easily especially the door leading out to the yard.

Location location across road from Wallis Lake - Netflix and kayak available - kitchen was bright, clean and new! Front lake facing balcony with many birds nestling in trees just awesome!

Queen sized bed would be welcomed along with fans for summer

The place was clean and tidy the only thing we suggest maybe an reverse cycle air conditioner as we can imagine in the summer this place could be very hot and some new fry pans as our fish stuck. Otherwise a beautiful, quiet and relaxing stay with stunning water views.

No air conditioner for summer months and cookware fry pans getting old

It was a little far out of town for easy access to food and the café next door was closed...

The property caters to perfect R&R. Quiet location, lovely outdoor setting with the view of the lake. Our stay was very comfortable. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage🙏🏻

Warm, comfy, great views, Ken was a fab host, much appreciated coffee, location is excellent, secure back yard for our dog to play in.

There was nothing we didn’t like

That there was little things like essential that was stock up for us to use.

The house needed alot of renovation to modernise the look, run down. Old vibe when we got in the property. There was no A/c. Only one tv which was so small. The window screen mesh had little hole so we couldnt open it due to mosquitoes. Ants were coming through the kitchen window through the tiles that had grips that needed filling. The back door was so hard to open everytime. The front entrance door locks but wasnt secure tightly enough didnt feel safe at night should look into changing the handle & when not there with our belonging.

Bathrooms were clean.

The property needs little tlc.Cushions and throw rugs on the sofa were worn out. I have seen spider and cobwebs in kitchen. Air con is not present in the house. It can get really warm during summer.Outdoor patio/ seating area sometimes feels unsafe structue wise.Steep and narrow outdoor parking area. Not suitable for big car.
