Very close to the beach.

The area is very poor, and the manager kept asking us to give him shoes/earphones, he was very weird in general. And for the area it is a very expensive stay! Also, don't use their restaurant..it is so pricey! The beach right in front is dangerous to swim in- luckily a local passing by told us not to get in when the manager had told us it was fine. You need to walk towards the left where there is a spot to swim. All in all the worst overall stay in Sri Lanka. I would suggest not even stopping by that area. Very weird manager. I mean, we are from Europe so we pay everything more expensive in Sri Lanka but this was at another level.

I stayed here for 3N with my wife and 3yr old daughter. Swimming pool was cleaned daily and was always available. The location is very peaceful and is surrounded by many turtle conservation projects. The balcony gives serene views. The day started with delicious breakfast spread. My wife and daughter are vegetarian, and the staff catered well to their dietry needs. Special mention to the caretaker Mendis who was very helpful and soft-spoken. They also help in arranging various excursions and day trips.

The beds made creaking sound and there were some red ants.
