Eine perfekte Lage, Privat und Naturnah in der Nähe der Steilküste mit einem wunderschönen Pool.

Wir waren begeistert, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus und der Garten sind sehr gepflegt und tip top im Schuss. Die Küche ist super eingerichtet und sehr gross, was wir sechs Frauen sehr geschätzt haben. auch das Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer sind angenehm gross und die Badezimmer erfüllen alle Erwartungen, Die Kommunikation mit Donald war immer sehr prompt und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Supermooi huis, met een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras aan het zwembad is geweldig. We hebben genoten van het (verwarmde) zwembad en het heerlijke weer. Kajakken bij Ponta da Piedade en de mooie klifwandelingen (seven hanging valleys) zijn aanraders. Het contact met Donald (eigenaar) verliep soepel.

Deze villa ligt vlakbij het gezellige Burgau , aan zee op de kliffen. Zeer rustige ligging aan doodlopende weg. Villa is van alle gemakken voorzien. Aanrader

Beautiful house with an amazing view. Everything perfectly equipped with a gardener and cleaning support that really makes a perfect holiday! Also great communication with both agency and owner!

Es wurde ja schon viel positives über die Villa geschrieben. Wir können das nur bestätigen. Die Lage ist einmalig, ein wunderschöner unverstellter Ausblick, zu Fuß zum Strand 20 min (Burgau) 40 min (Luz) und alles in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, zwei wunderschöne Bäder, Betten sehr gut, Küche mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet und eine Waschmaschine ist auch vorhanden, was für Reisen mit Kindern sehr hilfreich ist. Der Pool ist natürlich das Sahne Häubchen. Unsere zwei Enkel haben quasi darin gewohnt. Morgen vor dem Frühstück rein und vor dem Zubettgehen auch noch einmal. Der Service ist hervorragend, wir wurden von einer Vertreterin des Managements in empfang genommen, zweimal die Woche kommt wird gereinigt und die Handtücher werden gewechselt. Der wunderschöne Garten wird aller zwei Tage von einem reizenden älteren Herrn liebevoll gepflegt. Bleibt nur noch der Kontakt zum Besitzer. Auch das klappte alles wunderbar. Schnelle Antwortzeiten und sehr kulant (Wir hatten schon voriges Jahr die Villa gebucht und konnten kurzfristig kostenfrei stornieren obwohl die offizielle Frist schon abgelaufen war, da wir aufgrund der Pandemie nicht reisen konnten), thanks again Donald!! Also wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen, es ist jeden Cent/Penny wert!

Great location easy stroll along cliffs to either Burgau or Luz, great spot for mountain biking along the cliffs. Cheap taxi into Lagos Old Town. Perfect - will be back !

Very nice home. The views were fantastic. Only complaint for us and maynot be a issue for some matresses very hard on all beds. No heat or a/c in a guest room. One remote missing for heat in living room. Great fireplace.

Wir habe Anfang Oktober 9 Tage mit der erweiterten Familie in dieser wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Unsere hohen Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt, so dass ich an dieser Stelle nur auf die besonderen Highlights für uns eingehen möchte. 1) Unvergleichlich war der morgendliche Sonnenaufgang im Wintergarten bei einer Tasse Kaffee. Mit Blick aufs Meer und noch angenehm warm vom Vortag kann der Tag gar nicht besser beginnen... 2) Der Pool war für unser Kinder (3-11) genau passend. Groß genug zum Schwimmen und Toben, mit vielen Badeutensilien aus der Villa und dank Poolheizung (gegen Aufpreis, der es allemal Wert war) zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit angenehm temperiert. Außerdem direkt neben der Terrasse gelegen, so dass die Kleinen gut im Blick waren. 3) Die frisch renovierten Badezimmer sind toll. Dank großer Regenwalddusche und Heizstrahler wollten die Kinder das Bad gar nicht mehr verlassen. 4) Insgesamt war die Lage genau passend für uns. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit unverstelltem Blick auf das Meer. Zu Fuß sind die nächsten Städte/Strände Burgau und Luz jeweils über den Fußweg entlang der Felsenküste in 30-45 Min zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub.

Booked this late and can see why it was one of the few left! Very overpriced - there are better properties for less money and we have made sure we have booked one of these for next year! We are used to staying in 5 star properties but this is a 3 star place for a 5 star price! Pool was quite small and freezing cold, even though it was a hot August! Had to pay for heating of pool but then found pool heater didn’t work - was initially told it would take 2 weeks to fix, obviously we were not happy with this and complained, so owner eventually agreed to get it fixed quicker but still had to wait and they had to come back again as didn’t work properly once fixed! The sofas were old and very uncomfortable,- the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and there was a horrible smell in one of the wardrobes which meant we didn’t hang our clothes in there!!!! The air conditioning unit outside is rusty and we had a big ant problem - had to buy ant spray to use every day! Only one tv in villa and this didn’t work properly a lot of times especially if you were using the internet! Nice location but can’t reach beach from villa. Other reviews claimed lovely walks but this meant that we had people walking passed the villa a lot so not a lot of privacy! Kitchen and bathrooms quite new but due to being overpriced for what it is, small pool, very uncomfortable and owners false claims we would not recommend this property, as there are many others that are much nicer!!!

We have just left Casa Kivi after a second enjoyable stay.The location is perfect,not overlooked and very peaceful.Nothing but a vineyard and the sea in front,with lovely walks in all directions. A new kitchen has been recently installed.The villa and grounds are large,and conveniently built on one level.Everything is taken care of very well by the gardener,cleaners and villa management company.The owner Donald has been most helpful. I would definitely recommend this villa. Judith Champness.

We spent 2 very relaxing weeks at Casa Kivi in Aug 2018. The house was wonderful, very well equipped with everything you could need, the gardens and view were just incredible. The house was secluded enough to be very quiet but still within easy reach of nearby towns, beaches and other facilities. We felt very comfortable and right at home from day one of our stay. It was especially nice to have such fantastic access to the paths along the cliff edge. We also really appreciated the comprehensive guide of what to do in the area / restaurant recommendations and general assistance provided by the owner. Can’t recommend highly enough – thank you. We will be back!

This was our second visit and we plan to go again next year hopefully. We love the new kitchen: definitely an improvement. We have spent more time exploring the cliff walks this time and can't think of better location to do this from. Air conditioning is excellent and reliable. Figs are to die for!!

Ett sådant underbart hus. Härligt stort kök med allt man behöver, fräscha sovrum, sköna sängar,två badrum varav det som tillhör master bedroom är alldeles extra snyggt. Vi använde inte det stora vardagsrummet utan tillbringade all tid runt poolen; grillade, solade, badade och åt härliga måltider runt den stora matplatsen, i lä och med den underbara utsikten över vingården och havet. Fantastiskt läge. Fantastisk ägare också som verkligen gör allt för att man ska trivas.

What a magical spot! Just spent 5 days there on a family girls getaway - the location couldn't have been better. Cliff walk is right there, and it's about a 15-minute walk to Burgau, 15-minute drive to Luz. Views from the front porch overlooking vineyards out to the ocean - marvelous even when it rained. Brand new kitchen! House was very comfortable, booking easy, etc etc. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Where to begin - the views are amazing,the location quiet and private, and the villa itself is very comfortable with the benefit of being all on one level.The property and grounds are well looked after by the gardener.The owner was especially helpful with any queries and requests.We stayed for the month of October 2017 and the weather was unusually warm.We will definitely return! Looking for a place to unwind and relax this villa was just perfect for us: spacious rooms, well equipped and spotlessly clean, with a great garden and pool, quiet location and a stunning view, next to nature and hiking trails. Thanks to you, Donald, for the possibility to spend a wonderful time in your fantastic house. We'd love to be back soon.

Die Lage der Villa ist einfach perfekt: freie Sicht auf das Meer, absolute Ruhe, Wanderpfade an der Küste entlang und trotzdem ist man "mittendrin". Von der Villa aus ist man schnell in Lagos oder an den Traumstränden im Westen der Algarve. Wir waren mit 3 Kindern und Oma hier und alle haben ihren Lieblingsplatz im Garten gefunden: die Kinder im Pool oder unter den Schatten spendenden Bäumen und die Oma mit Buch unter den Palmen. Abends haben wir gegrillt und uns im Wintergarten mit Meeresblick ein Gläschen Vinho Verde gegönnt. Im April war es abends noch frisch und daher war dieser Wintergarten ideal. Im Haus sind 4 schöne Schlafzimmer, eine große Küche, ein großer Wohnraum und überhaupt sehr viel Platz. Wir können diese Villa nur weiterempfehlen.

A well equipped welcoming home, the perfect spot for a relaxing family holiday. Spacious and clean the villa is very comfortable and large enough to give everyone plenty of space yet remain cosy. The pool and garden are delightful and looked after by Louis the garden who was adorable! The lemons on the tree in the garden were falling off the tree so we made lemonade! The view to the ocean is stunning . Plenty do to locally if you wanted to go out, recommend Paulos in Luz for great value food with good service.

We have stayed in a number of villas in the area of Praia da Luz and this was an excellent location allowing us to easily access Burgau, Praia and the west coast beaches. It was a real pleasure to be able to enjoy the villa. The alfresco dining set up overlooking the ocean was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed many family BBQs and relaxing in the pool of an evening. The gardener 'Lluis' was very diligent turning up every morning to ensure the pool and surrounding areas were clean and tidy. The villa was just what we needed to enjoy a relaxing 2 weeks summer vacation.

Hi The villa is fabulous with everything you could possibly need. Chill out with the spectacular views from the patio and pool. It’s a short walk along the beautiful cliffs into town of an evening for a cocktail or two in Pielas Bar before a delicious dinner in Ancora. We had such a relaxing break. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the villa or indeed Burgau itself as a destination. First class and we look forward to returning Cheers Eric
