I've stayed here several times on business trips to Kampala. It's ideal for a short stay.

Lighting in the rooms is poor, making it difficult to work.

This is wonderful hotel, that staff are exceptional,both friendly and professional. I had a wonderful time staying there, I was shown the local attractions and the staff were always on hand to help. The complementary breakfast was so delicious. Well worth the price, I would highly recommend this place to any traveller. Five *****

Good value for money, however the beds were very uncomfortable.

Disastrous management of insulin. The fridge in the room was not working well and I got the impression that the management was annoyed that I asked to keep insulin in the bar fridge. In conclusion, some vials have got deteriorated.

Location fine . Majority of staff lovely and very helpful . Shower pressure good . Nice to have a bar , somewhere to sit for a drink . Frustrated on checking out as the desk clerk kept converting the price from Australian dollars to US dollars and then Ugandan shillings . I am Australian and it was in Australian dollars on Booking.com so I just needed the conversion to Ugandan dollars .

Room , some of the power outlets and lights were not working or were broken . Mat near bed dirty , black hair on floor near bed .Obviously not vacuumed . Mattress , 3 inch foam on very solid base so extremely hard . No tea and coffee facilities in room . Breakfast average . Would be nice to include some variety such as different cereals and yoghurt . Had a gym , very musty smell , only some of the equipment working .

The staff were very friendly from the reception to the restaurant to the house keeping staff. Their food was very good.
