Amazing view of the Caribbean. Condo was clean, had everything necessary from cooking to water sports, and friendly neighbors to make stay enjoyable.

Quiet place nice but remote

Our stay in the condo and time on STX was incredible. This condo is mid island so easy to get to C-sted, F-sted, airport and all around. I loved that this was in a less touristy area so we were able to try local food in the neighborhood, hit the resorts for entertainment and snorkel twice a day at various beaches. Our friends live in C-sted Harbor and would have recommended a place in town - but this was the absolute right choice! Central air and 2BD/2BA were my must-haves and this was one of the few places with both (vs. window AC or split/ductless) and the price was half of what it is in town. Waking up to the sound of ocean and that view! We had the huge pool to ourselves every time we went. It wasn’t until day 2 or 3 that we saw another person on-site. I knocked off one star for cleanliness of bathroom but acknowledge heat + moisture make it very hard to prevent mold and mildew. Owner and property manager were great hosts and communication exceeded expectations (extremely responsive and helpful - gave suggestions and even offered a zoom call (which went to spam so I didn’t see until we got there) to answer any questions or set up activities). A car rental is a must - SUV is best due to speed bumps and some of the roads in rainforest and up to Pt Udall. Pack bug spray for at night. Eat at Junie’s - local recommended and you won’t be sorry! And yes the La Reine Chicken Shack is worth the hype!

We loved this spot! It was as promised and had everything we needed so we didn't have to lug a bunch of stuff (towels, snorkels, floats, etc.). People even left their extras so that was helpful (sunscreen, bags, dish detergent, etc.). The neighbors at the condo were so nice. They invited us to their BBQ and told us about all their neighborhood animals. With kids that love to swim, I appreciated the heads up from the property owner that this wasn't swimming beach. We drove out almost every day to try a new beach out. Easy drives once you figure out how to drive on the left and not crash at the intersections. Our favorite was Cramer Beach. We mostly had it to ourselves and there are bathrooms there. There's a cooler so we took a picnic most days. The pool being right next the ocean and closest to this condo was awesome too. The kids ran back and forth all day while I sat out in the chairs and read and looked at the ocean. The towels were really soft, and there were plenty of them. The beds were fine. One was SUPER high! Luckily there as a little step stool. We appreciated the property manager giving us a heads up on where to buy groceries in bulk for the best price. What else...We loved it! St. Croix is definitely our style. Not too many people or too much touristy stuff. Just right. We did the Buck Island snorkel tour on our last day. Definitely recommend it! Thank you!

I had only been to the Virgin Islands one other time before. This was really one of the best places I’ve stayed at. They had all the accommodations including, board games, boogie boards, lifejackets, movies and DVDs, dishes, bathroom stuff, they were so prepared if we thought we needed to go to the store I just looked around the apartment and they had stuff there we could use… It was totally awesome. The place was very clean and they had lots of towels. The pool overlooks the ocean and it was the most gorgeous view in the morning. The beach is not really swimmable because of the seaweed and stuff but it was still a beautiful walk and it was lovely to sit out in the morning and have coffee . It was very spacious and it had an extra blowup bed in the closet. The property manager was totally accommodating and had great communication skills. They had a binder on the table that was extremely informative- information on restaurants and grocery stores and great ideas and coupons. I definitely want to rent here again. It was FABULOUS!!!! We didn’t have any kids with us but even if you had kids or if it was a family this would be such a great place to rent from.

I can’t recommend this VRBO enough! Starting with how communicative both the owner and the property manager are. Both Sunny and Robin contacted me with recommendations and tips, Robin going so far as to schedule a zoom call with me to talk about getting onto the island and into the property as soon as possible. The condo itself is on the water, but don’t expect to send your kids out there to swim. Not much sand in front of the property, a little rocky, and the water can be a little rough there. Nice snorkeling though! The patio is nice and the complex’s pool (just steps away from the back sliding door) is great when the wind cooperates! Inside the unit are incredible amenities: beach chairs, snorkeling gear, games, and more. The unit was a great size for our group (me, my wife, and her brother and his wife). The location is convenient to downtown Christianstead where we spent much of our time. We had a great time on the island and really enjoyed staying in this condo!

The spot was perfect. We had a pool, views of the ocean, and only a short drive to anywhere you wanted to go in the island. Loved this place and would stay again if we ever make it back to St Croix!

Although their may be better locations on the island if your looking for a centrally located stay with a view this is it we’re 30 mins from the frederikstead pier and 30 mins from point udall. The host is very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and had plenty of condiments such as seasonings, sugar coffee, cruzan rum, pink whine. And the staff at the condo are super friendly, super helpful, and very appreciative. Was a wonderful experience.

The property manager was excellent and very attentive. The property itself is somewhat dated and does not exactly look like the pictures. Several things weren't working like the dishwasher, cable tv, and microwave upon our arrival. The complex was redoing the pool and we weren't able to use it for the first week. This was not the owners fault, of course, but we weren't informed of this and it was a main reason for us booking the property as the beach is unswimmable. Our main issue with the condo was the roaches. The property was sprayed while we were there. We sprayed it and the property manager even called for an emergency spray. Still we couldn't get rid of the bugs. Not sure if this is characteristic of St Croix or just this property but this is my fourth stay on the island and we have never experienced this before. Robin was excellent and there is nothing more she could have done. She even got us a gift certificate to a local restaurant for our inconvenience.

The condo was a nice spacious piece of property nestled right next to the shoreline with crashing waves and beautiful sea breezes 24/7!

The location is pretty far from the nicer beaches. You have to rent a car. The night before we where leaving I got a text saying that the pool had a problem. I was offered a gift certificate to a restaurant for $100, we excepted it and said thank you. I mean- what could we do? The beach outside the door is so full of rocks and seaweed that it was unpleasant even to sit on a beach chair. The sand flyes where all over you. The condo had plenary room. It’s old but clean. Unfortunately it also had a few uninvited cockroaches. Not to pleasent to them running whenever the light was turned on. The front bedroom has a very nice bed but needs a stool for you to get into bed. If you are old or short you will not get up into the bed. It’s simply to high. I would not stay here again.

Had a couple issues when we first arrived, but Robin took care of those immediately once we reported them. Pool wasn't open, but we enjoyed the ocean. Loved our stay and the location was perfect. Would love to go back!

We had a great time. Ocean right out the back door, plenty of room in the condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo. It is directly waterfront, ground level, with a beautiful view. The pool on property was clean and well kept. The property manager is delightful. There was a problem with the a/c when we first arrived, but with the ocean breezes it wasn't an issue and it was repaired as soon as they could given the weekend.

Beautiful views and a pool onsite, we loved having so much space and preparing our own meals!! Beds are terrible, we ended up sleeping on an air mattress or the couches each night. Other than the beds the property is well maintained. You can get a great breeze if you open up windows otherwise it’s very muggy at night!

Condo was clean but amenities were very disappointing. Beds were very uncomfortable, household and outside equipment old, broken or not working right. Property manager not very responsive after check in. Not worth the money spent. Area was fine, great view nice pool and grilling area!

Clean, comfortable, nicely located and had that we needed for a relaxing vacation . Would stay there again

Every morning we would wake up and the beautiful Caribbean Sea is right outside.

Convenient location. Complex is nice and quiet, which made it relaxing. However place needs to be freshened up.

We enjoyed our stay. St Croix is beautiful and we appreciate you sharing your home with us. Pros: Central location, beach access, beach accessories such as body boards, snorkeling gear, etc. Spacious and 2 full baths. Cons: no in unit laundry, could use some updating and smell emanating from dishwasher. Overall we had a very positive experience.

Love Saint Croix, and loved staying at La Granda Princess. When we arrived we had a window broken due to the wind the night before. This made us a little concerned, but after talking with the manager she had it repaired. The location was great, easy to travel all over the island.

I was there on business, but I could see Sunny provides a lot for her guests. From all the kitchen appliances if you want to cook to pool and beach supplies. The condo is located in a safe and quite neighborhood with a waterfront view.

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay. So many sights to see and many beautiful beaches to visit. Wish we could have seen them all. Maybe next time....

Booking was easy and convenient. The unit was clean and spacious The condominium complex is nice and undergoing some work, Will be great when finished. Sunny is a fantastic owner and Andrea the condo manager was eager to help too.

Very spacious condo right on the beach, enjoyed watching the waves crash while sipping wine at sunset!

This place has beautiful views from master bedroom, living room, and the patio. It was comfortable enough to enjoy our vacation. It was missing a few minors items but we let Robin the property manager know and she wrote down what we noticed. I am positive those items will be corrected and Will be there for the next guests. It does need a few repairs but I understood the owner would be there in April so maybe those will be repaired. These items do not take away from the comfort of the place. Perfect for two couples traveling together or a family of four. There were games, movies, snorkeling gear, floaties. We enjoyed our stay. We loved St. Croix and will be looking to move to the beautiful island.

This was by far the best condo I’ve stayed at. Just perfect no complaints at all. Every thing was neat & clean fully equipped kitchen, the WIFI worked great, the A/C worked perfect, the pool was perfect right on top of the water! Parking just out the door step, and most of all the water, it’s literally foot steps away no kidding!!! The sound of the waves crashing just puts you to sleep. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back very soon.

This place is centrally located with a gorgeous view. It was clean, comfortable and safe...the neighbors were friendly and helpful with local info. One neighbor brought us a star fruit. Robin and Walt were super nice and knowledgeable. We had everything we needed. And, yes Sunny, we fell asleep to the soothing sounds of waves on the beach....lovely! Highly recommend!!!!!! Nice condo and roomy. Next guest, be sure to check out the huge dresser and under the bed, and behind the doors for more things to make your stay more improved. This condo at this time does not have direct sand beach access, great water view. great pool. but...... there is a very nice beach just down the road from the condo approximately 1/4 mile away at the turn onto the road to the property. Also as a side note, the manager of the property came and met us at the airport and led us to the property in our rented car which was GREAT!!! Len and Kaye Jan 2019

My family of four including a 1 year old completely enjoyed the space. The complex and ground's was well kept and the location was steps away from the ocean and pool and laundry room. Ample space for my child to run around and play. The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
